First, the apartment itself is great, the location is easy, the living area is spacious, and it has everything you need! When I arrived, it was spotless and ready!
Second, the area is absolutely one of my favorite areas in Portland. There is amazing shopping, eating, drinking, and exploring all within walking distance, and at all hours of the day, I felt safe and comfortable even traveling by myself!
I recommend the cold brew in the coffee shop downstairs, and Please Louise is a great spot for dinner or grabbing drinks!
I cannot wait to stay here again!
I was in the unit for one week while on a business trip. It was perfect for just myself. It was very clean. It was in a great location, meaning I could walk everywhere I needed to go. My only thing I did not like about the unit was the courtyard leaves lights on pretty late and those really light up the apartment so it made sleeping difficult for me. Other than that I would stay in this unit again.
Enjoyed the convenient location of Q21 while in town for work.
Enjoyed the neighborhood and the espresso cafe in the lobby entrance. Very handy for the morning. A stellar grocery store across the street. Clean apartment. Easy to figure out access.

The apartment was super close to everything, there is even a market across the street. Decorated very tastefully and although small, it was cozy and enjoyable.
We very much enjoyed our stay at this wonderful little condo in Slabtown/Nob Hill/whatever you want to call this great neighborhood in NW Portland! It was so much more affordable than any hotel in the area and much more enjoyable as we felt like we were really living in Portland, not just visiting in a hotel like tourists. The condo was exceptionally clean and ready for our stay. Everything you need is provided from a warm throw blanket on for the couch to travel shampoo/cond./soap to coffee mugs and wine glasses. If we wanted to go across the street to the New Seasons market (like a smaller Whole Foods) and get a salmon fillet, we could have cooked it up with the wide variety of pans and cooking utensils provided. The bed was very comfortable and cozy even though the pillows sunk and flattened when you slept on them - still not too big of a deal. And the unit had a nice TV and cable!
We only had two minor issues that were resolved. The washing machine in the condo would not turn on despite our many attempts. The washer/dryer combo looks new and clean but the washer was on the fritz. We called the Vacasa phone line provided for help and they were very nice and accommodating. They contacted the Vacasa reps in Portland who stopped by when we were out to fix the machine. When we came back, our clothes had run through the wash cycle. Then when we tried to wash another load that evening, it wouldn’t turn on again. We called again and they sent out another representative who had difficulty turning it on, too. She provided us with extra clean towels from the condo building and left after spending some time trying to turn it on. Eventually we got it to turn on that night after doing a combo of door shutting and button pushing but couldn’t turn it on after that load. All in all, it was a minor inconvenience but nothing too bad. The other issue was some loud neighbors on the second night (some rude, loud partiers who I think were vacation renting, too). We could hear the bass of their music through the walls and the lyrics in the hallway. We called the Vacasa phone line twice and they contacted the onsite building management who must have told the girls to quiet down eventually.
Overall, this was a very clean and very cozy place to call a temporary home during our stay. The location and building is excellent. With a coffee shop downstairs, the market just across the street, great restaurants and shops within minutes walking distance, and street car/bus stops also within a minutes walk, we didn’t have to rent a car and enjoyed the experience so much.
My wife and I rented this smaller condo while we explored Portland over an extended weekend. The location is in a newer district that has a lot of nice restaurants in the area (Please Louise is a great pizza joint across the street).
Renting this little room didn't feel like a vacation as much as it felt like living in Portland for the weekend. We had all and any amenities we'd need to live there for an indefinite amount of time. The atmosphere of the Q21 building is alive and friendly, as we were nestled in with actual condo tenants who live in the complex full-time. The Queue coffee shop in the lobby is very strong with a good taste.
When we arrived, the room was very neat; nothing short of a comparable hotel room. However, the game changer was an in-room washer and dryer, including tide pods and dryer sheets, which is a godsend if you're packing light! The housekeepers also included a surplus of towels under the bathroom cabinets so we didn't have to run down to a lobby or request more during our stay. Pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils were all CLEAN and included in our room.
Lastly, the staff was great. They do a great job of making sure everything is perfect, but they'll stay out of your way in an empowering sense for the guest.
I come to PDX often for work and I book Vacasa's rentals here when I can. Easy access, clean and comfortable. I'll be back.
great condo for what I needed.
This apartment has everything you need. My wife and I stayed here and enjoyed the close proximity to many bars and restaurants that were literally in walking distance. Also, there are some famous places along with gorgeous hikes that are just a few minute drive away. The apartment itself is clean, with a nice TV, and plenty of supplies. There is a cute coffee shop connected to the lobby, not too crowded at any one time and simple entry and exiting. Great spot to stay at while visiting Portland.
Loved this little apartment. I cooked dinner every night and there's a full kitchen with all of the tools needed to make a meal. Bed was comfortable.
I stayed for a business trip the other day. The unit was clean and comfortable. It's a little walk, but getting a burger at Tilt is highly recommended!

Nice condo with good proximity to downtown and a lot of nice restaurants in the vicinity. Parking was the only downside. It would have been great to have some parking options listed in the VRBO add. We were happy with our stay.
The unit is in a good location for walking. There are several eateries, coffee shops and a grocery store nearby. The only real downside is the parking. All parking is on the street and it’s pay-at-the-meter wth 4 hour maximum. I asked the meter maid that I saw if there was any all day or even free parking anywhere nearby. He said “no although, if your time runs out, you can just pay for longer. They won’t enforce moving to a different spot”, so that’s nice at least.
Aside from that, the place was neat and clean. There is a kurig on the kitchen counter, but no coffee pods! So, make sure to bring some of you want coffee in your room. There was a French press on the shelf, so I ran across the street to the grocery store and bought coffee grounds. All-in-all, a decent little place to stay.
A well equipped condo, took a while to find the pot and pans, look behind you! Super convenient, high end pizza place opposite and great grocery store 20 meters away. And an address the Rush fans love. 2112!
We loved the simplicity of flying into to PDX taking MAX/streetcar to the apartment and having amazing food, shops, neighborhoods to stroll around in. The apartment itself had everything we needed to make breakfast and was child friendly for our 9 month and 3.5 yr old sons.
Functional little apartment directly across the street from New Seasons market. Walking distance to great restaurants and 1.5 miles to Forest Park.
Just enough space to recharge & relax until your next adventure! The location was awesome... So close to many dining options within walking distance! Very easy check in & check out process. We'd definitely come back & stay here again!

This place was awesome! It was clean, the bed was super comfy and the location was central to all kinds of great places in the Alphabet. I highly recommend staying at Q21 with Vacasa!!
The location of this property is wonderful. The tree-lined streets and easy paid street parking by the hour, make this property very desirable. Then this is where the fun begins, when checking in after the property closes, be prepared to dial the door code as given in the email and to get a random mans voicemail and not luck accessing the inside of the property.
If you are lucky, and a tenant leaves the property allowing for you to slip-in, you can then follow the incorrect key finding instructions and locate the box only to find it without keys. This is when you probably have said a few choice words and want to find the nearest bar to pretend you do not care that you have traveled multiple time zones, have been awake for 18+ hours and may end up sleeping on the cold floor. Only to save the day is another tenant who has experienced your same misfortune and directs you to the VACASA key box at the other end of the long, long hallway. All the while you are talking to a VACASA rep who cannot even seem to find your reservation.
Finally, after obtaining the keys, and still not knowing if there potentially could be another tenant in the rented apartment you have paid for, you reside to the fact that you may or may not share the most comfortable, yes the bed was delightful, bed with strangers for the evening, then this rental is for you.
After the tragic events of not knowing whether or not I was on an episode of PUNKED, Yes I am a mid 30's traveler, the rest of my delightful vacation began!
We are very sorry to see it was such a struggle for this guest to get in the home. The property manager verified that all information provided in the check-in and driving instructions emails are correct. We wish the guest had contacted him directly via his number provided in those emails so he could have assisted these guests. Thanks!
Stayed here with my wife for three days and didn’t disappoint! It’s close to many restaurants, bars, etc.
This apartment is very cozy and feels like a real home. I particularly appreciated the books in the home and the DVDs available.
We stayed here for 3 nights in late August! This apartment was conveniently located and had a nice, clean, modern look and feel. The neighborhood is really undergoing transformation with some construction going on. We loved the proximity to the New Seasons Market (across the street) and the fact that there were several restaurants within a one-block radius. This apartment offered easy access to Portland's International Rose Garden, and Japanese Gardens, as well as to the Waterfront neighborhoods. In the evenings, our family enjoyed relaxing in the apartment building's common areas and outdoor seating. The sofa bed was uncomfortable to sleep on (even for kids) so I recommend taking that into consideration for families of four.
This development did not disappoint! The lawn area had plenty of seating, grill, dining table, firepit, corn hole...party lights, what more could you ask for? Also, indoor gathering room had big screen TV...pool table, ping pong tables, board games, computer stations, plus a view! We enjoyed all the amenities. The location was absolutely perfect. We were able to take day hikes, able to easily walk to all the shops and restaurants. We felt very safe and are booking another stay today!
We really enjoyed staying here. 2 slept on the sleeper sofa which has an uncomfortable mattress (very palpable springs), but the bed is great. Convenient location to many breweries and shopping, all within walking distance. Close to hiking trails in Portland hills. Finding the condo keys was a little confusing--look behind the pillar around the corner from the elevators. Check-in and -out very convenient. Plenty of at-home comforts.
This was an amazing place. There is a backyard type thing for residents that was very chill. BBQ pit, lounge area with everything you need! There is a grocery store literally right across the street for those who want to utilize the FULL kitchen in the Condo. For those who want to eat out, there is a strip full of different restaurants on 23rd st. Which is literally like a couple blocks up the road. Literally everything is walking distance if we are talking food! You do NOT need a car in portland as they have amazing public transportation! Which are also walking distance from the Condo! These buses and/or light rails take you straight downtown or wherever you want to go in Portland. There is literally buses and trains going EVERYWHERE! This condo is very new and PERFECTLY located close to everything! Even the airport or Amtrak! DEFINETLY WILL RECOMMEND!!!
The unit was clean, fresh, and in new condition. Everything you need for your stay was in the unit. Housekeeping was first class. Quiet and peaceful. Location within walking distance to restaurants, and shops. Building loaded with amenities.
