Great place. Kitchen well stocked, comfortable furniture, nice location close to the water. North Hero is the best area for
water activities.

This was the perfect location for a girlfriend getaway. We live in Vermont and wanted to spend a long weekend on the water in the safety of our own state due to Covid. While the house is not on the water it is just 256 steps by my account to the private beach you have access to. We met the owner of the home Nancy who is lovely! She has thought of every detail so you will have everything you need during your stay. The kitchen is fully stocked. The beds are comfy. The bedding is clean. There are plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, and a fan In each room. She even has a nice collection of books for rainy days, chairs you can take down to the beach, and wonderful Adirondack chairs at the beach to watch the sunrise and sunset each day. We ate our meals at the picnic table outside on the huge lawn. And I felt completely safe going for a nice long walk each day by myself. And if We were not in the middle of a pandemic there appears to be a ton to do in the area. I highly recommend this house and this area of Vermont. By the way, Nancy calls at the fun house because it is an old cabin and all of the floorboards are crooked like a fun house at the fair. But really it just adds to the charm. 😄

We really enjoyed our stay at the Fun House. It was conveniently located, clean and had pretty much everything we needed. Note that if it is going to be hot during your stay you might want to bring an extra fan or two. There is no A/C and only one fan per bedroom.

Propreté, grandeur, proximité

It was the perfect little camp for the 2 of us, we enjoyed sitting out on the porch a lot and the very short walk to the lake the most. Kitchen is a good size, bathroom is a little small, but what can you expect with a camp? I have to say from the outside of the camp it looks smaller than what’s inside. Everything was great!

Great location and potential for cute little house. Vacasa very responsive to our request for assistance. With attention to some maintenance repairs and fixes, the value for this rental would be more accurate.

Very cozy. Everything we needed was there. Comfortable beds. Quiet. Right by the lake.

We really enjoyed our stay at this rustic little camp in North Hero, VT while fishing in the LCI Father’s Day Fishing Derby. It was only about a quarter mile to the public boat launch site, which made our early morning fishing trips very convenient. The Fun House was perfect for our 3-man fishing team; 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom was just right, without being too small or overly large. The camp was amply furnished with all the basics that were needed, and was relaxing to come back to after a long day on the lake. A nice barbecue grill in the backyard was perfect for our grilled dinners, and the stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker were all fine for breakfast and side dish preparation. The bathroom looked newer than the rest of the camp, and hot water was not a problem. The unit also features a clothes washer and dryer, although we didn’t use them. The wooden floors slope, and has the normal features you would expect in an older camp, but the property was clean and comfortable and made for a nice weekend fishing camp getaway. I would certainly stay here again for the next fishing adventure. Thank you.
