Beautiful setting right next to the river, and a well maintained house and property.

My wife and I were looking for a relaxing, late fall trip, in the Burlington area. After a short search for rentals in the area, we found this home and made an easy choice to book after viewing the photos. After arriving at the property I was more than happy to see that the home looked exactly as it did in the photos, views included. The view of the lake from all three levels is amazing, and the quiet neighborhood it is located in only adds to this homes charm. This home is a perfect distance to Burlington for a night out, Stowe and the green mountain byway for sightseeing, and the Canadian border for a day trip to Montreal. I highly recommend this home for anyone looking to stay in Vermont for the all the things this state has to offer.

It was cold in November. It would be great for families or young people. Flatscreen TVs, games, exercise room, pool & hot tub. I didn’t need or use them but they looked good

Much of Vermont is verdant and lush, and the Lake Champlain region near the Quebec and Northern New York borders isn't any different. The Lake Champlain Islands are known for their majestic seashores and gorgeous mountain views. The area boasts 200 miles of pristine coastline - you might even spy Champ, the mythic monster that is said to reside in the lake! - as well as apple orchards and farmers markets galore.

Spotted by Samuel Champlain in 1609, the area was strategic in the War of Independence and was home to several pitch battles during the War of 1812. Two centuries later, the region is a tourist mecca, thanks to beautiful beaches, places for peaceful reflection, and eager locals wanting to lend a helping hand. Our Vermont vacation rentals on these small but scenic islands offer the best respite for the weary traveler.
