I love the areas clean water to drink right out of the tap. Quiet and bright stars at night.
I walked to the Town center in 15 minutes

Pros - walking distance to town or mid-island stores, very clean, quiet street, comfortable beds
Cons - very outdated décor, 1 chair springs broken, no regular cable tv, bathroom floor needs to be replaced
I know Nantucket is expensive to visit, but I was expecting better for the price paid. & just to be aware, there are only about 5 parking spots on the entire street, which might be an issue for some people in the summer.

We love Nantucket and being there. The cottage was clean and the kitchen and living area was comfortable. Access to Netflix and a washer and dryer was a plus. A outside yard was nice to have.

This place is just as you see in the photos. There's no dishwasher, no beach towels, no beach umbrella or chairs, and the bath towels could use an update.

That said, it's centrally located, and VERY CLEAN, which I appreciated. The decor and facilities are dated, but functional, and the sitting room is pleasant.

Maybe I'd liken it to an Embassy Suites - it's FINE, but nothing special or memorable. And probably cleaner than an Embassy Suites.

The house was the perfect size for our group of 4. Quick walk to the supermarket and some good restaurants, and the walk to town was just 15-20 minutes. Bring your own toilet paper though, they only supplied 1 roll. Towel quality and quantity also could use an upgrade.

The listing was perfectly aligned to the actual house! Great location! Very clean! Can't wait to go back next year!

The Rose Cottage was very comfortable and clean. It could use some updating (windows and back yard). Be aware it is a good 15-20 min walk from the ferry to the cottage. I would recommend a rolling suitcase or backpack. Also, check in and check out times are strict, 4 pm and 10 am. So, you will have to store your own luggage. The listing could use more information regarding what is and what isn’t provided. We were told there was a coffee machine so we brought coffee but it was a Keurig machine and we did not have k cups. There were linens and shower towels. There was no hairdryer or laundry detergent to use the washer. Slept 5 adults comfortably.

The cottage was very comfortable, the kitchen and the bathroom well prepared for the guests. Outside and some inside repairs are needed. Overall, we have enjoyed our stay and the price was exceptional good.

Loved this little cottage, and it's proximity to bars and restaurants. We were able to walk here from the ferry, which is great. It was clean and well-stocked with most of the essentials (towels, k-cups, etc). However, the only downside is that they left us with almost an empty roll of toilet paper, and no extra rolls. We searched everywhere and could not find any. There was also not a hair dryer. Other than that... very lovely place to stay!
