Recent Ocean Park vacation rental reviews

Great property. Quiet neighborhood off the beaten path yet close to everything. Really enjoyed the home and the extras. Fire pit garage for my boat, plenty of parking. Will be back.

Such a cute little house. Very clean and a spacious fenced back yard! Would definitely stay again.

Had a great stay. Ran into a maintenance issue at 7pm and had to call the 1-800 number. They had a maintenance crew member there in 20 minutes to look at it. And had it fixed first thing the next day. We will definitely be back.

Things to do in Ocean Park

The most obvious attraction in Ocean Park is the beach - all 28 miles of it! Soft sands, crashing pacific waves, and a nice summer breeze all make for a fantastic day out, whether you're sunbathing with your friends, splashing around with the kids, or enjoying a long, romantic walk with that special someone. If you arrive at the right time of year, you can take advantage of Ocean Park's unique location: as one of the five areas in coastal Washington designated for clamming, you can bring a bucket and some shovels and catch all the delicious clams you can eat!

Ocean Park may be a small town with less than 1,600 residents - but that doesn't mean there's nothing to do! The downtown area is full of small shops and charming restaurants - in the case of Adelaide's Books and Coffee, it's both. Adelaide's is actually based out of the former Taylor Hotel building, a historic landmark built in 1887. When you're not taking in a good book and some coffee along with some history, you can always head to the docks and watch the boats bob in the water.

Golf and outdoor activities near Ocean Park

There are plenty of things to see and do just a short drive from Ocean Park. Golfers will love taking in some fresh ocean air with their game at Surfside Golf - just three miles north, the course boasts a great value for nine holes. Leadbetter State Park is six miles farther north, and offers beautiful surroundings for hiking, boating, fishing, and more! 15 miles south of town is Cape Disappointment State Park - the name of which says nothing about the fun hiking and camping that awaits! Ocean Park even has access to Long Island, with only 36 miles between you and the gorgeous forests of the National Wildlife Refuge.

Day trips from Ocean Park

In addition to nearby coastal towns like Seaview, Oysterville, and Long Beach, Ocean Park is surprisingly close to the two biggest cities of the region. The metropolis of Seattle is only 181 miles away, or about three and a half hours by car, with its beautiful skylines, incredible restaurants, and a wide variety of museums, galleries, and attractions. Beautiful Portland, 122 miles to the south, is even closer, with its unique low-key atmosphere, bustling art scene, and eclectic sights like food cart pods and the world-famous Powell's City of Books.

Whether you're looking for a quiet romantic getaway, a family trip to the beach, or to explore some charming small-town restaurants and shops with your friends, you're sure to have a great time in Ocean Park. With miles of gorgeous beachfront to explore, several nearby parks, and plenty of sights to see, this is one coastal Washington town you don't want to miss.
