The location is fantastic and comfortable house.

This is a nice location for a Sedona visit. Just a short drive to the center of town and out of the traffic and noise.
Accommodations and bedding are comfortable. Check in was easy. I'd rent it again for a similar trip.

We loved the house. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the proximity to everything we wanted to do and see. The house had everything we needed. Thank you so much!

Previous reviews are not forthcoming with all the details. We have rented quite a few vacation homes. This one will have the reputation of being the worst of all of our stays. The house was located in a good location. While the house has some interesting bones it is in great need of some attention to maintenance. An old discarded sofa was sitting outside of a bedroom window in the back yard. The split rail fence was broken in several places. The front door gave us a clue that the entire house needs a fresh coat of paint. Apparently someone else thought so too because there was a painter's business card stuck in the front door. The kitchen is a throw back to push button appliances which is fun. The view out the kitchen window is a worthy of a photograph of the red rocks. Throughout the house wood trim is damaged and in need of attention. The master king bed was comfortable. Both master bedroom bedside tables were severely blistered and the tops bubbled apparently from drinks of previous renters. The ceiling above the master bed had been repaired but needed to be repainted to match. Upon using the washing machine the drain water spilled out onto the floor. It seemed the plumbing in the wall was clogged and it was necessary to stop and start the machine allowing the water to slowly drain away. This place has so good potential but it is in great need of some TLC. I would not recommend renting this place. I have photos but there is no chance to show them here so you will have to go on my word. We did have a deer visitor one morning.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Marian! We are sorry the home did not meet your expectations. Thank you for sharing your feedback and for bringing some items to our attention that may need some TLC. We confirm the couch has been removed and some paint and trim work has been performed at the home. The washer has been repaired as well. The fence belongs to the neighbor, so we cannot repair it as it is not on the owner's parcel of land. We hope we can host you again for a much more enjoyable stay.

We loved the memorabilia and old Spanish furnishing that took us back to our youth! Beds were comfortable as were bathrooms. TVs easy to operate. Good air conditioning when needed. Kitchen had everything we needed. Only negative was sparse lighting (no overhead -could use a couple extra lamps.)

Perfect location for hiking and close to downtown. Yes this is a vintage house with a 70’s theme, so if you aren’t expecting luxury accommodations going in you won’t be disappointed. The house was very clean. We found it perfect for our family and kids and really enjoyed how conveniently located it was to trails and avoiding the businesses of downtown. This was just what our family needed.

Very pleased with the home and loved reliving the 70’s vibe!

the views are great. took a minute on the retro stove and microwave, but very comfy cosy!

All amenities with cable, washer/dryer, provided the comfort of a home, yet secluded from the town of Sedona. Great place to travel with 2-3 couples or family. 10 minutes from many trails for hiking.

Ok so first the positive. The house was clean upon arrival, toilet paper, paper towels etc. were provided as well as a great amount of clean towels. The view from the front of the house was amazing and the house sits back in it own little private pine tree forest. Also the location was close to everything in Sedona.

The not so great? Lets start with the 70's theme. It's a fun idea but some upgrading is needed. The stove burners do not sit flat so when you cook on the larger burners everything tilts to one side. A nice flat top would not hurt the vibe you are trying to give and would allow people like ourselves who like to cook every day to do so without fighting with the stove.
Also only 2 of the kitchen chairs were not wobbling back and forth and didn't feel like you were about to get dumped on to the floor at any given moment.
The shower water pressure is fantastic, what is not so fantastic is being 5 foot 7 and almost giving yourself a concussion on the low shower heads! They are so low you have to duck to get your head completely under them, imagine my husband at 5"11.
Suggestion : A nice patio table off the kitchen door would be a great addition so people can sit outside and enjoy the scenery and get some fresh air, Ditch the stained white plastic chairs. And give the outside of the house a fresh coat of paint!

Could be a nice little place with some basic maintenance.

Decor, location, amenities, cleanliness, all very thoughtful and appreciated. What a gem of a home!

Home was clean and instructions were easy to follow.

We enjoyed staying at this residence with the great views of the red buttes in Sedona. The house is like a time capsule of old Spanish and other 1970/1980 decor. My only recommendation would be to update the faucets and fixtures as they are leaking and quite inefficient. Also, we could not figure out the garbage situation as to where to recycle and where to put trash.
Manager response:
We are happy that you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for your valuable feedback. It helps us to improve the unit. The manager was made aware of the leaky faucet and it has been repaired. We hope we can host you again soon!

What a cozy and beautiful house That 70's House was! It turned out to be home for my family for a week. It was near the Chapel of the Holy Cross and next door to El Poco Diablo Resort, where you can dine in case you do not want to cook.

I recommend this place 100%!

That 70's House is appropriate. The home is quite dated. We rented this for the 3rd room and the hide-a-bed. However, the bed was unuseable and our guest ended up sleeping on the couch. There were really no good outdoor spaces to enjoy. The house could use some maintenance. Although the house was very clean and the other rooms were great. The location worked very well for us
Manager response:
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review with us. We verified the sofa bed in the TV room is working, and we have suggested new outdoor furniture to the owner to better utilize the space. We hope to see you again!
