Secluded cabin w/ gas fireplace & mountain views - dogs welcome!

This spacious cabin is big enough for everyone, offering all kinds of personal touches to make you feel right at home. The large tub in the master bedroom is the perfect way to start your morning, and the gas fireplace will ensure that everyone feels snug no matter how low the temperature drops outside. A fully equipped kitchen has all the right tools for you to make a home-cooked meal, and the large deck offers both a gas grill and gorgeous views of the surrounding forest and hills. You'll love soaking in the hot tub after a fun hike with someone you love. Dogs are also welcome at this property, so the whole family can make the trip!

Less than a mile from the center of town, this homey retreat is surrounded by natural beauty and has all the seclusion you could ask for. Downtown Pagosa Springs is home to restaurants, shops, and the ever-popular hot springs. You can also take a leisurely stroll down the San Juan River Walk along the water while taking in the sights. History buffs should take the 20.6-mile drive west to Chimney Rock National Monument, a collection of over 200 ruins from an ancient Pueblo settlement. In the winter, pack your skis and make the 25.5-mile trek north to spend the day skiing at Wolf Creek Ski Area.

Close to town (3 min to Natural Grocers) but views out the window makes it feel like your in a remote cabin. Very roomy yet also cozy once you turn up the thermostat and fire up the gas-fired stove. It fit our group of 8 with plenty of room to spare. Kitchen was a good size and stocked with all the utensils you need to cook simple dinners like pasta or curry. Hot tub was amazing to soak after a long drive up to Pagosa in a blizzard. Speaking of said blizzard, it was a big one and there were at least 6" of fresh snow on top of ice and packed snow and the driveway proved a bit too steep for our AWD Rav4 but we just parked halfway up and were able to get up the next day no problem. A truck, or 4WD suv would've had no problem. This isn't a ding, just a heads up if you arrive in a blizzard. The Split Pine Cabin was a great place for our group to enjoy a great weekend of skiing.

Love the view from the hot tub and front porch! Beautiful house

Rented this cabin for a long weekend with my family. The location to town was great, no more than a 5 minute drive. We were there during an abnormally hot time, so the second floor was hot at night and sleeping the whole house fan helped.
The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and everything we needed to cook. The back deck and front porch were lovely to enjoy the view. There is a trail system across the road which we walked at night. Overall the property was clean, but the floors had not been vacuumed or washed. Bathrooms, kitchen and sheets were clean. The dogs loved to watch the horses next door.
Overall great stay.
Manager response:
We apologize for the cleanliness oversights, Emily. This has been addressed by our housekeeping manager. Thank you!

The house was very comfortable for our group of twelve. Six adults, two teens and four children.
The kitchen is large and well equipped. We cooked almost all of our meals which was fun and economical.
We enjoyed afternoons on the porch. It is roomy enough for everyone and has plenty of patio chairs. Inside, we opened the windows and enjoyed the fresh breeze.
The hot tub was a great way to end an active day!
I would stay in the Split Pine Cabin again and I highly recommend it for your group.

The house was great for 6 grandkids and 6 adults. Plenty of room for all. Many places in the house to get a great game going and others could relax and read. House had everything we needed to prepare meals, fantastic table so all could eat together. It was a great time.

Plenty of room for the seven of us. Comfortable rooms, nice bathrooms (shower has two shower heads!!). Beautiful views morning, day, and night with wildlife all around. Conveniently located close to everything in town but still quiet with a country feel. We loved it!

This cabin was perfect for our first family trip to Pagosa Springs. The house was clean, cozy, and well appointed. There was ample space for everyone and enough seats and beds to accommodate our family. I loved the fireplace on the first floor and that the TV was on the second floor. The view was magnificent and we loved playing in the snow in the backyard and meeting the horses next door.

Very nice place spacious loved the wooden table big enough for our party of 9 but only thing no downstairs TV disappointed for a disabled person because he could not climb stairs to watch movies or move around much. Other than that it was very nice and bed was so comfortable we would live to go back and visit.

This home is accessible! There is a master bedroom and bathroom on the first floor with a ramp on the side of the house. There is about 2-3 steps to enter the house, so the ramp is perfect if taking the stairs isn’t possible. The kitchen was also extremely well equipped. We brought a few things from home, but really didn’t need any of it. There were more pots & pans (including griddles; waffle maker AND blenders) than all 3 of our family’s homes combined. The cabin also boasted quite a few culinary seasonings, which was a nice surprise. I wish I would have known the house had a high-chair and Pack n’ Play (we brought ours but wouldn’t have, had we known!). There was also a functioning baby gate, but the bar had been previously broken and taped together. Overall, I was very impressed with how accommodating the house was.

The front porch was our favorite hangout spot. The wildlife was great. Big bedrooms, wonderful living area, really a relaxing place to stay. A set of binoculars would have been great to view wildlife from the front porch.

Great location. Very well equipped for a family gathering.

Big house, tons of space, great wifi, which we needed to do work and we zoomed for meetings all day and had great reception. AT&T cell phones worked well also. Management group was flexible as we needed to check out later than posted times. Clean. Front porch view is great.

Spacious cabin with lots of room to share and everything you need, close to downtown Pagosa Springs
Janice S. Jun 2020
Loved how peaceful and quiet the location was, has a better view. The house was big and fit our family of 10 perfectly. The grill didn't work that was a bummer cuz we had burgers and brats to cook and the house could have been cleaner but besides that ot waa great!
Manager response:
