Crystal Beach is primarily known for its access to the beautiful surroundings of Bolivar, including 27 miles of pristine beach on which you can cruise in your car, or on your bike. The mild climate and gentle waters make it a great place to take the kids for boogie boarding, fishing, and crabbing. Swimming is leisurely, and relaxing is a snap. The rental was a great location to the beach! We had everything thing plus more for 9 woman to cook with! Ice maker was a plus. The outside lift was a pleasant & appreciated surprise!! Decor was so very appealing & relevant to the beach atmosphere!
My minuses: seating…all of it was so very uncomfortable! Barstools were too high for short fluffy gals! Could not pull them in once we finally got seated…just not a good choice. The living room sofas were the same…not for short gals! No place to kickback & truly relax. Need item to put feet up. TV’s were difficult to navigate but that is the same with others. Might provide better instructions for EACH TV. Last, lighting was beautiful but not ample for putting on makeup nor shaving I would guess. My bedroom bath was very dim.

The house is really nice and spacious. Everything was clean and comfortable. The two fridges, one up and one down are really nice. One of the thoughtful things Jan & Jerry did was allow you access to the two story lift. Talk about a back saver not carrying all of the stuff up and down the stairs was so nice. Another wonderful thing is the house has a whole house generator, not that we needed it this trip but other trips have been ruined do to a three day power outage. Four adults, five kids and two dogs had an absolute blast.

House and stay was nice, however the owner will show up at this beach house unannounced to check up on you. Was at the beach enjoying time with the family and the owner asked for us to come back to the beach house so that a technician could work on something that we never reported on. We were totally disappointed by the situation. Additionally, maintenance guys showed up unannounced the following morning to work on the generator.

The water wasn’t your problem. It was terrible, we spent both days at the beach then came home to no water. It was terrible!!!! Also there is something wrong with the dryer, didn’t work most of the time.

We had a wonderful time staying in the beautiful house. It was perfect. Under the house was awesome, it was fenced as well as the back yard. So our dogs were able to enjoy it with us instead of being put in the back yard.

Plenty of room Home was very clean and plenty of dishes for use. Even had a refrigerator outside which was wonderful for outdoor activities. The kids loved the fire pit as well. I bought supplies to make s’mores just for that. Would DEFINITELY stay here again

A great house with a very nice layout. Tons of space for 1 or 2 families. The downstairs/outdoor area is open, bright and a great place for lounging.

House was super clean and beautifully decorated. Stocked with everything even down to trash bags and dish soap, bathroom shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. We loved the Two extra fridges on the bottom floor and even have cornhole and horshoes. Grill was nice as well. Comes with propane too. We brought our own golf cart and it was just the perfect location even if you wanted to just walk. We had a group of four adults and seven children so layout was just perfect for us.
