Bed was comfortable and room spacious. Needs some updates though. Wall outlets are few and hard to find much less use. There were no wash cloths in the bathroom. Other than that good experience.
Manager response:
We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay, Christopher! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We will be sure to pass your suggestions along to our local manager who will work with our homeowner to make necessary upgrades. We look forward to hosting you again!

Buttermilk is a terrific, not crowded, something for everyone mountain. The Inn is truly ski in ski out. Buses from Buttermilk can be grabbed to take you to any of the other three mountains in Aspen. We skied Buttermilk and Highlands over four days. Why go to a crowded Mountain when those two offer everything?

The Good: Location. Location location. You are on top of the lift. Nice staff. The on site restaurant is excellent. Vending machines on site. Laundry on site

The not so great: The property is dated. The pool/hot tub were out of commission while we were there. The shuttle is great, when it runs and is available. The shuttle is constantly on the go. You need to make a reservation or give plenty of heads up if you need a ride. We came in to the airport at about 11:00pm. The shuttle stopped running so we had to wait 1.5 hours at the airport for a taxi to give us a ride to the hotel.

Would I go back? Heck yeah. You get what you pay for. Don’t expect a five star experience. It’s a terrific, affordable, place with great skiing and darned good food. I wish the scale were 1-10. I’d give it a 9 for what it is.

Staff- including front desk, assistant managers, shuttle drivers and restaurant hostess extremely nice and welcoming!

Listen, this place is old. So it all needs a facelift. Paint, carpet, flooring, signage - everything is dated and just awful. Not a luxury resort area place. Just pathetic. From the exterior to the inside of every room - it is all one terrible shade of boring. 1974 has to be when my room was last updated.

Functionally, hotel has a horrible restaurant for breakfast and/or BBQ as it claims to be known for. Home Team? Ha! More like Losing Team. Worst menu for sure. Who thinks tater tots is eating out? GROSS. Staff gives zero f’s about customers and food is worse than a middle school cafeteria. Also most who work there are illegals. Hence the not giving a f.

My room was 1170. It was 2 doors away from the hotel exit door. I asked the desk if I could get in if I parked at that end of the building. They said “Yes.” Guess what? Outside door does not open with room key card because there is no key reader. Thanks for wasting my time front desk.

Finally, who the hell does not have Netflix or YouTube available on a smart TV in a hotel you are spending $400 a night on? This black hole of bad food and no customer service, The Inn at Aspen.

I could not wait… to get OUT of the INN.

You need to step iy up. All of Aspen does. You are in for a rude awakening when your little town is either completely changed by millennial money or you fall out of fashion as a travel destination. You are not offering luxury in anyway. Not even good hospitality.

Nothing about this trip gave me a feeling of having been treated with any hospitality. Nothing. As a Hotel you should be embarrassed and ashamed.
