The Idyllwild area encompasses the Pine Cove neighborhood, which sits on a ridgetop about 1,000 feet higher than Idyllwild proper (a couple of miles down the road). Pack a picnic and bring it out to Pine Cove County Park, or make the short drive to Mount San Jacinto State Park, which is full of beautiful trails. In the winter, Pine Cove and its surroundings turn into a snow-coated wonderland, and while there’s no skiing, there’s plenty of Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and sledding to go around.

It was so last minute for me and my husband to get away and try and fix our marriage , the drive was beautiful it was full of snow still and when we got to the cabin omg it was perfect it has all u need to cook and stay indoors . Make sure u buy wood and groceries before getting up there because it’s very pricey up there and hard to get around because of the snow . But as far as the house it’s spread out where the bedrooms are more private and a spa outside . The price for last minute booking was reasonable especially with all they provide . Towels shampoo soaps clean linens extra linen .. the games are fun to play I learned how to play a new game . And for the most part it took me away from other stress and I saw my husband for who he really is . Needless to say there is no saving our marriage he left the first day and walked all the way home to riverside . He broke my heart and left me there see people drugs are no good and he refused to get clean that’s what he was going to do for me on our private vacay but left me instead so I enjoyed the place all alone for the next night and day . I wasn’t going to let him ruin my vacay away from kids and responsibilities. And it was perfect way to cry having the fireplace in for myself and cooked a steak which I couldn’t even eat since I was crying so hard I was puking all night . Lol but it made me r sad like who I can and can not save . I choose myself !!! Thank u for the cabin and I would recommend it to anyone . Shoot I may go back really soon with my kids .
