Blue Mountain Lodge was the perfect getaway for my birthday vacation with family. My sisters called it glamping , because it really feels like you're in the middle of nowhere, but you have all the luxuries of home. I was a little worried they had posted 4 wheel drive required. This is likely because of the steep gravel driveway butvwe had no trouble with any of our vehicles. The lodge is well stocked on dishes, bedding, blankets and towels. The washer and dryer are high capacity units so the handled large loads quite well. There are some limitations due to the house being on septic but this wasn't an issue for our group. I absolutely loved our stay here and I look forward to visiting again in the future.
