Surprised at where the Ranch location was. It was on a main road. The inside of the house was great. We did end up seeing Elk. Would have liked the Meadow location better.

We had a wonderful stay at our cabin, the home was very clean and ready for us when we arrived. The location is central to everything you would want to explore while at Redwood National State Park- Fern Canyon, Lady Grove, Prairie Creek, Palmer's Point Tide Pools. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed- even skewers for roasting marshmallows at night which the kids were delighted to do. The staff regularly emailed to check if all was going well and were readily available if we needed anything. The only thing I would note is that the queen bed in the main room is not very comfortable as it is a spring coiled bed and made lots of squeeky noises with every move. Besides that we had a great stay and would return back!
Manager response:
Thank you for taking the time to share your valuable experience with us, Angelina. We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We regret that the queen bed was not suitable for your party, and appreciate this as an area to improve for the future. We look forward to welcoming you back again in the future!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Oreq-W Ranch House A. The house was incredibly clean - probably the cleanest cabin I've ever stayed in and was very comfortable for our family of 2 adults and 3 children. The house is centrally located in Redwood National and State Parks and it was a great jumping off point for all the wonderful hikes and activities in the park. The only reason I am not rating the house a full five stars is because the outdoor space was not really usable for us - there is an electric cattle fence around the property so our kids were unable to play in the yard and the house is right off 101 so the freeway is outside the front door. That said - for a getaway where you plan to be outdoors and away all day - this cabin was PERFECT and so comfortable to come back home to after a long and exciting day in the redwoods.
