Absolutely stunning view! We were there over July 4th weekend and we saw multiple fireworks displays from the back deck. This included Sugar Mountains display. It was great to be able to sit on the deck versus fighting crowds. The house is overall very comfortable and well maintained. We had a few small issues, first was screen doors on main level are not easy to slide and would pop off track. Also when we arrived the garbage was overflowing in all cans in garage. We had a large group and had called to ask how it needs to get removed. The local contacts were great and told us someone would be by the next day to pick it all up. We moved the trash to the driveway to make it easier for them to grab and because we had put our dogs crate in the garage while we were gone. We got a call stating the owner saw on the camera that we need to move them back inside. Once we explained again the issue someone came out quickly to get the trash. The was no disclosure of cameras on property which I totally understand the need for them, but we were kind of weirded out that the owners were watching. Only other issue is home was not super clean. There was dust on floor around couch, decks were dirty, the grill had leaked grease to the two bottom decks and wasn’t cleaned up, also basement area had cobwebs throughout. One other mentionable item was the grass was long in the back yard. It is very steep and cutting must be a challenge but it was hard to clean up after the dogs with such long grass. Overall the house was great. We enjoyed the time there and did not want to leave. I would definitely recommend, especially for the views. Four stars was only due to garbage issue and not being overall cleaned well, otherwise would have been a 5!

What a beautiful experience. An amazing wood house sitting near Beech Mountain with a sight that inspires a sense of freedom and relaxation like no other I’ve been before. Spacious living room with a big balcony. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms have a couple of surprises like table games to enjoy with the family. You can’t go wrong with this house surrounded by nature. The only thing is that it’s hard when you leave once you make yourself at home in this mini paradise.

This was a last minute find but worth every penny. It is kind of the perfect house: amazing view, great amenities, near everything, two decks, surrounded by wildlife and extremely quiet.
