We absolutely loved our stay at the Lighthouse. We stayed in unit 1402 which was clean except the couch appears to be stained . I would recommend replacing it. Everything else was great! The bed was very comfortable the kitchen was stocked well and I enjoyed the very nice washer and dryer. I washed up our clothes so I wouldn't have to when we get home. Vacasa text me with anything I needed to know. I would highly recommend.

We had nothing short of an amazing experience at Lighthouse 1402. The view was breathtaking. The unit was clean and well stocked; perfect for 2 adults and two kids. The pool, hot tub, and beach access exceeded our expectations. We would love to come back.

Love the view, which really you can't get a bad view anywhere at the Lighthouse. As always, Vacasa does a great job at making sure everything is clean and they keep you updated on entry codes and what to do when checking out etc... the only issue we had with this condo was the fact that the appliances were super old and not working properly. The dishwasher was rusting at the bottom, Microwave did not heat thoroughly, toaster only toasted 1 side, fridge wasn't cold enough, freezer was too cold, no matter what setting you put it on. Washer and dryer worked, but were also very old, and very loud when in use. Was not aware from the description on the listing that this is the top floor on that side of the building, so there is no cover on the balcony to protect from rain and the blistering sun. Also not much privacy on the balcony. The chairs out there were pretty awesome though. Not a whole lot was put into decor. The bed in the main room was terrible. Not comfortable and the bed kept sliding across the room on the tile floor. Living room couch very uncomfortable; We stayed at another condo there a year or so ago and it was pristine and very updatedand comfortable. Made you want to stay inside some. This place didn't have that vibe. We were there for 5 nights. I would say anything longer that, you should maybe check into another condo that has a more homey feel for the price. Elevators on the property were great. No waiting and they were fast to get to the 14th floor. Parking at the Lighthouse is great. Covered and secure. The Vacasa management is great. I will always be sure to rent from them when getting another condo. I think with some updated working appliances and a little more love with comfort and decor, it wouldn't be too bad. Overall we had a good stay.

Upon entering the condo, I was initially disappointed. The condo did not look like it was pictured online. Furniture and appliances outdated and the condo is in need of some maintenance. Vacuum didn’t work and their was a broom but no dust pan so impossible to pick up the daily sand brought it. However, we made the best of it and enjoyed the beach and pool.

No ice maker. Not enough cookware and utensils. No table to sit and eat at in the the condo or on the balcony. No pitchers for making tea and such, no spatula suitable for grilling, No large pots for one pot meals or large skillets. Can opener occasionally worked. Not enough bath towels. Poor quality bedding and mattresses. No room in the master closet for guest items because it’s being used as a storage and is full of stuff. Only 2 chairs on the balcony. No roof on this balcony which would have been nice to know. Refrigerator did not ever get as cold as it should. TV or computer monitor in bunk room did not work. Dust is packed on the ceiling fan blades. Parking passes are now $40 a piece. We’ve stayed at the Lighthouse for the last 10 years but $4000 for a week to experience this is pricing families out of range. And if you don’t get your umbrella and chairs out by 5:30 am, you’re expected to sit behind the rented blue umbrella chairs. We had 5 condos rented between my relatives last week and had to stand our ground everyday that we were just as entitled to waterfront as anyone else. They’ve never put the rented umbrellas right on the water before so be prepared. It was like our $20,000 meant nothing. We could have gone many other places and next year we probably will.

We loved the lighthouse, the zero entry pool was a huge hit with our 2 year old. There’s two huge pools so the crowding wasn’t bad at all. We always had a parking spot which was great. Overall it was a great family place stay and the water was absolutely gorgeous when we went. Would definitely go back!!

The unit and location were great….our timing was not! We arrived on Monday and for the next 3 days roofers (directly above us since this is the top floor in this section) started replacing the roof at 6AM!!! Yes, 6AM! I have a 5 yr old! It was the loudest noise you could possibly endure. An actual jackhammer directly over the bedroom at 6:15AM! My husband tried to address it the first day with the workers. We totally understand that this kind of work has to be done BUT starting at 6 AM everyday when people are vacationing and have paid a premium price?! Come on! Give us at least until 8!
The other huge setback was the air conditioning. Again, just bad timing. We could not get the room cooler than 81 degrees. Ugh. Maintenance was up and completely replaced the unit but not until the day before we left.
If those two things would not have coincidentally happened during our stay it would have been wonderful.

Unit was not clean. Mysterious white powder was spilt over the top of an end table. Kitchen sink was dirty. Glassware and silver wear were all dirty. Plates had old food stuck on them. We washed everything first thing. The tv wires in the bunkroom are dangerous. I would never allow a child to sleep there. Because of the condition of the living area we definitely didn`t trust the comforter on the bed. Slept with just the sheets which we hope were clean. Unable to stream netflix etc as bedroom TV was not a smart tv. Remote to the living area TV was missing. Batteries in two remotes were dead. We did not use the master shower due to the mold growing there. Message to the owner of this unit: Get a new property management company!

From the moment we walked in it was bad. The blinds to the first bedroom window was on the dresser nothing over window. The TV in that room was not hooked up or working cords all balled up hanging. The jacuzzi jets didn`t work. The hide a bed was FULL of food and no sheets for it. Several lights were burnt out. It was nasty and not functioning properly. Relaxing time, beautiful view. Really liked the location of the rental and the property. Was disappointed the TV`s didn`t work and a worker was supposed to come and fix them but never came or contacted us. The coffee maker needed to be unplugged and plugged in to get it to work and a couple of the lamps and light bulbs were not working. BUT............the chairs on the balcony are so so relaxing. We spent much of our time sitting in them and relaxing! Would rent this unit again if we come back to the area. Beautiful condo with everything we could wish for a memorable stay. Very comfortable bed and enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. Wonderful selection of channels on the TV. Well equipped kitchen. Large balcony with amazing chairs that were more like thrones - we felt very Regal surveying the beach scene from the 14th floor. We loved Lighthouse 1402! We have been traveling to the Lighthouse for years from Oklahoma. However, we have never used Relax on the Beach and will not again. Kaiser and Meyer are two reputable agencies we have used. We tried to reach assistance three times: 1)refrigerator not working and everything in freezer melted. 2)no ice entire visit 3) all electricity went out. Michael or William or ? Unfortunately, due to an emergency, we were unable to stay on the July 4th weekend here. We have tried several times to reach out and have not heard back. Our best friend from college was Kelsey Starling, the girl who is still missing in Smith Lake. If possible, we would like a refund or a chance to use this visit we were unable to take, for a different time. Additionally, getting the cleaning fee back would be appreciated as we did not even stay here, therefore, there was nothing to be cleaned. Please call me at. Thank you! Unit was ok and had a beautiful view of the beach from the 14th floor, but sink drained slowly and wifi went out after 1st day. Shower drain area was sharp to the foot so needed repair. Thought they told us parking was included only to find a lady at the entrance of garage collecting $25 for parking. At $375 a night I think collecting that $25 extra puts a negative first impression on the visit. Nice to have Washer/Dryer in unit. Rental company asked us to vacate for 2 hours the second day so they could show the property to potential buyers. We declined and thought it weird they would ask and were afraid if we said yes that they may wish to do it on a daily basis. I would suggest if they are going to inconvenience the vacationers, that they offer a stipend such as a dinner or lunch or discount for the favor. This way the vacationers might be more prone to say yes and have an event that could take them away from the unit for the 2 hour showing window. Elevators could get very slow and lastly, the beach area was very nice and kids had a great time in the water with their baseball teammates. The access to the beach is the best thing about this condo. The shower leaked and the master bath fan was super loud! The toaster only toasted one one side. The pillows really sucked! The master bedroom TV didn’t have a signal so I called the tech support and no one ever called me back! There is mold in the bedroom sliders and on the curtains. Definitely could have been cleaner. This is a GREAT property. I had read previous reviews and they all noted that the air conditioner did not cool. This is true. We slept with the balcony doors open. The only other issue is that the trash compactor stinks. I reported this so I am sure it will be taken care of. Other than those issues it was Wonderful and I would highly recommend this property.
