The house had a very cozy cabin feel and in a wonderful location. Small kitchen but it wasn’t anything we couldn’t work through. There was no bbq which would have been really nice but we brought our own. Basement area gave the kids a sea parade place to go. All in all, we really liked the house and would stay again.

We do an annual trip up Mount Hood every fall and this year, since none of us had ever stayed in an A frame, we decided to stay in am A frame. There's a few things to get used to in such a design. It took us a day to stop hitting our head on the stairs and we all were still not Pro Status with them by the end of the stay. The kitchens were tight but nicely appointed. The beds were pretty comfortable and although we had several conversations in the hot tub about the quirks of the house, we all agreed that we really liked it. We were in the woods enough to feel private but the verbal store was a six minute walk from the house.
I will say that we brought an easy up in order to have shelter over the hot tub in adverse weather since we're old and that was going to be a main feature of our trip but despite a previous guest saying that it didn't work, we found it not than adequate.
