If the walls of this well-loved beach house could talk, you would hear them tell of memories made on the beach while staying in this charming coastal beach house. Mako’s Cove is sure to provide you with your very own special beach memories. If your idea of relaxation is reading a book while listening to the sounds of the ocean and passing seagulls, then this house is the best choice.

The large east ocean-facing deck provides gorgeous ocean views, a place to eat beachside, and a lower deck for sunbathing from atop the dunes. In addition, there is a walkway ramp that makes access to the beach a breeze. The bright and airy interior is accented by comfortable couches and hardwood floors, and the ocean view is incredible from most of the rooms in this house. Your time will be spent gazing out the large picture windows as well as in the breezy sunroom which also offers seating and a table for eight. The white cabinetry and quartz countertops are a nice touch in the kitchen, which provides bar seating for three.

Three bedrooms are located on the upper level, nicely decorated with nautical accents and bedding. One full bath (also where the washer and dryer are located) is accessible from the king bedroom as well as from the hall. Additionally, a shared shower is located between the bunk room and third bedroom, along with a half bath that has access from the hall.

The lower level is a great room for spreading out or for teens and tweens to enjoy. There is a second gathering area also with a flatscreen TV, and two bar seats at a tabletop, perfect for board or card games. Play a game of foosball for some friendly competition and inside fun, or grab a book from the bookshelf to enjoy. One bedroom offers a queen bed, with a twin daybed located in the living area. Mako’s Cove will provide everything you need for a simplistic and relaxing beach vacation.

We had a wonderful stay at Mako’s Cove. It is the perfect place to relax. The view from the living room and outdoor spaces is beautiful. The kitchen was well appointed and we had plenty of room as a family of four adults. The only quirky thing is the bathroom situation, plenty of half baths but we all decided to use the main bathroom for showering. This was not a big deal for us, and the overall charm of the cottage more than made up for it. We all decided it was our favorite beach rental and we would definitely stay their again.

The house was everything it shows in the pictures. It did not disappoint! The house was very clean upon arrival. The staff were very accommodating upon arrival with checking in. Adults and children enjoyed their stay. The house was spacious, we (10 people) never felt as though we were stepping over one another. The close walk to the beach was enjoyed by all. The deck and pool area were amazing. A shower in the lower level of the house would definitely add convenience to the layout of the house. We plan to return in the very near future. Thanks for a great experience!

We love this house! Very well taken care of. Well stocked kitchen. The cleaning staff does a wonderful job. We stayed in the house with one other couple and basically lived on the deck at the pool. This was our 2nd time at Mako's Cove and we've already booked for 2023. The weird layout of the bathrooms is always something that gets commented on, but it can certainly in our case be overlooked because we love the house so much.

Location, Location, Location - Having a house that has a great deck & pool with plenty of seating, nice patio furniture & a grill that is right on the beach was ideal. In the house, we spent 99% of our time either in the dining room or family room that was open concept with the Kitchen. Both areas have unobstructed views to the beach & ocean.

We loved the house, the pool and the ocean access! There were dolphins in the ocean every day, flipping their tails. Unfortunately l, the jelly fish were there too so we used the pool a lot! My grandkids chased the sand crabs every evening. Accommodations were great!

I rented this home for a family celebration for my granddaughter���s 12th birthday get together and I���m so glad I did. The home was well organized, cleaned and decorated so comfortably! This was my first time renting from Sandbridge Realty but it will not be the last time. Everything was well organized and being recently widowed, the time away allowed me to reflect on my husband���s memories while enjoying my family. My hats off to the owners of Makos Cove for a job well done. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful home. Mako’s Cove is one of the most comfortable houses we have stayed in at Sandbridge. We would have liked to have been notified about the construction on the beach ahead of our arrival. It was a shock and we were not sure the 80+ year old in our family was going to be able to climb over the huge pipes! We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It is well equipped with games, pots, pans, extra pillows, hairdryers, etc. and the kitchen is updated really nicely and has plenty of counter space and storage. The layout of the bedrooms worked well for our group, although it may be wonky for other groups since one bedroom is downstairs and there is really only one full bathroom for the whole house that is located on the main floor. It worked fine for us, but depending on privacy concerns for others I could see it being an issue. The location of the home is great - its a short walk to the market and for ice cream, and offers a very private and uncrowded beach experience since its located on the northern end of Sandbridge. The new pool, deck and patio furniture is wonderful. The pool is gated on 3 sides and uses the house as the 4th barrier, which could be an issue for families with non-swimmers. An alarm was installed on the sliding door which gave us some protection but we were still a bit uneasy. Overall, a really nice beach vacation experience and great home. Thank you!
