The village also has a new park with tennis, pickle ball, bocce, and a playground. Casinos, wineries, New Buffalo, and Indiana Dunes National Park are all easy drives away as well. Fully renovated in Spring of 2022, this charming cabin delivers a modern take on the quintessential Michiana log cabin.
Outdoor space at home includes two decks, perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails, and a patio area with a fire pit, perfect for roasting marshmallows and admiring the stars at the end of the night. A storage bin includes a corn hole game, giant Jenga, beach chairs, a beach wagon and toys for extra fun on the beach and on the half-acre, wooded lot.
Inside, you'll find eclectic blue decor, mimicking the gorgeous shades of blue in Lake Michigan. The airy, open living space features vaulted ceilings and tons of windows, letting in lots of natural light. The chef will love the updated, modern kitchen, with a full suite of stainless steel appliances and tons of counter space. A brightly painted fireplace, blue kitchen cabinetry, and pretty blue touches all over the home will make you feel right at home near the lake. The enclosed sunroom features three full walls of windows, lots of comfortable seating, and is perfect for a semi-alfresco meal or a quiet spot to sip some coffee while listening to the waves outside. Six barstools plus a large dining table offer plenty more mealtime seating.
Gathering spaces include a main-floor living room with an oversized sectional and large TV; a lounge/sitting room with a record player and vinyl collection; a lower-level family room with sectional and oversized smart TV; and a garage-conversion game room with ping-pong table. Finally, if you've brought any remote work, make use of the free high-speed WiFi and dedicated dual office workstation with two monitors, located in the lounge just off the living room.
