Very clean. Nice location. The backyard was not as depicted in the photos. It unfortunately did not have grass, the grass was dead and there was sharp gravel rocks. We did not spend the time back there that I had intended. My 12 year old pup had a hard time navigating the rocks.

Booked this place to escape the 4th of July fireworks in the valley with my dog (she has MAJOR anxiety with loud noises) hoping that the mountains would be a safe refuge. This place was the perfect choice! Lake Arrowhead is nearby and had their fireworks show that only lasted about 30 minutes, but the house is far enough away that we could barely hear it with the TV on at a normal volume. The neighborhood/town has quiet hours as well, so there was no noise after the lake's show. My dog was so relaxed and slept through the night! The area is fun as well - great hiking trails with all levels of difficulty are all within 15-30 minute drives, and Big Bear is only about 45 minutes away if you want to take a day trip. We'll probably be back next July!
