Make Hollywood your next getaway—choose from 11 great vacation rentals

Though its name conjures up images of movie stars, famous landmarks, and film industry glamour, Hollywood, FL has little in common with the Southern California city of the same name. But what it does have is no less legendary: Beautifully landscaped neighborhoods, miles of sugar-sand coastline, and plenty of laid-back living in a location with great access to the vibrant Latin-infused culture of both Fort Lauderdale and Miami.

We were very happy with our stay.

This residence is gorgeous. Photos do not do it justice. Floor to ceiling windows create breathtaking views. The rooms are huge. The bathrooms are luxurious and the beds are so comfortable. The rooftop is the main attraction. The hot tub is large and so relaxing. We did not use the outdoor kitchen area except for the refrigerator and large ice machine. The modern kitchen is a chefs dream. We did not do alot of cooking, but the appliances are all top notch. The private elevator is a necessity, as I have a bad hip, but it gives you wonderful views as you ride up and down. The floating staircases are easy to climb as my husband and son states. It was a very pleasurable trip. Easy access to everything Hollywood Florida has to offer.

Don’t just take our word for it—experience the tropical sights and sounds of Hollywood with a stay in one of our South Florida vacation rentals.

Where is Hollywood, FL?

Sandwiched between Fort Lauderdale (11 miles north) and Miami (20 miles south), Hollywood resides on southeast Florida’s Atlantic Coast. Long popular with retirees, it is considered part of the Miami metropolitan area.

Things to do in Hollywood, FL

When planning a trip to Hollywood, plan for plenty of time spent suntanning and frolicking in the warm ocean surf at Hollywood Beach. Perfect for early morning jogs, leisurely bike rides, and fun rollerblading, the Hollywood Boardwalk is a must-visit paved path that winds along five miles of beach and beautiful Atlantic coastline.

A sure bet for an afternoon of family fun, bring your kids on an exciting ride aboard the Hollywood Trolley, which offers daily sightseeing adventures through the city’s eclectic neighborhoods. If you brought along a toddler, you’ll even save a few bucks—children five and under ride free.

When your friends or family get hungry, make sure to visit Le Tub Saloon, home of the “Sirloin burger,” labeled one of America’s best burgers by Oprah Winfrey and GQ food critic Allan Richman.

Are you an outdoors enthusiast? If so, make sure to check out the Anne Kolb Nature Center on the northeast side of town. A 1,500-acre coastal mangrove wetland that is home to a variety of native tropical plants and animals, this park is a great place to hike, kayak, and view native species. Plus, it’s part of the Great Florida Birding Trail, a 2,000-mile collection of more than 500 protected locations in Florida to view native songbirds, waterfowl, and hundreds of other avian species. So lace up your hiking boots, grab your binoculars and a guidebook, and head out on the trail.

Grab some sunscreen, throw on your swim trunks, and treat your group to a sun-soaked getaway in lovely Hollywood when you book a stay in one of our Hollywood beach house rentals today.
