My husband arrived in Chattanooga, ahead of myself and children. To prefish for his tournament. He knew instantly that the city wasnt for him. After a night in a terrible hotel. I stumbled upon this property on Vrbo. He checked in and raved about the location. On Sunday, my kids and I arrived. The location was PERFECT! As a family from Maine. We loved the nature. The peace. & even a pond to fish! It worked perfect for our family dinners, rather than eating out. Two bathrooms & a claw foot tub! Two bedrooms. What really sealed the deal, as if evening above hadn’t. Was the sweetest family who owns the property. A regular dad riding around on his four wheeler with his kids. Kids enjoying the best childhood. & their son who came to share his fishing secrets and good conversation. Our son still thinks he may be his hero lol. It’s hard to find nice, quiet places with all of the amenities. Even cooler is the story of the property. The family had originally built this home for the grandma. It was as if being in there, was like being part of the family. Having hosts that gave us space to live, explore and enjoy. But offered camaraderie. Was just what we needed. We look forward to coming back one day. Fishing the pond. Hearing the stories of what the kids are doing now and enjoying the sound of the peepers at night from the front patio. Thanks for the best accidental find we’ve ever had!
