Recent Chattanooga vacation rental reviews

I loved how close it was to things to do. If you have cat allergies I don't recommend ever sitting outside. Someone has been feeding two cats and they came to visit every evening/night. There were bowls on the front and back porch for them. Being close to everything was so convenient! The house looks refurbished on the inside, but not well. Half the blinds don't work and the walls are paper thin. Don't expect maintenance to show up either. I put in an issue shortly after check in and no one ever showed up. If you don't mind over looking any issues I recommend staying here simply for the short driving distance to fun things to do!

Where is Chattanooga, TN?

Named for the Creek Indian word for a "rock coming to a point," Chattanooga is located at the foot of the 88-mile-long ridge known as Lookout Mountain. This riverfront city of 177,000 residents sits within a few miles of the Georgia-Tennessee line at the junction of four interstate highways. It is almost equidistant from the music city of Nashville (133 miles northwest) and downtown Atlanta (118 miles southeast). Chattanooga is also 145 miles southwest of Gatlinburg, the gateway to Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Things to Do in Chattanooga, TN

In recent years, Chattanooga has gained fame for its extensive greenway system and thoughtfully redeveloped riverwalk - but those are only the beginnings of what you can enjoy near our Chattanooga vacation homes.

Relive one of the most complex battles of the Civil War at Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park, the nation's first and largest military park that brings to life the fall of 1863. Or find a bit of levity at the Tennessee Aquarium, home to the most diverse population of freshwater animals in the country.

Looking to get out into nature? You'll stand in awe of Ruby Falls 1,120 feet below the surface of Lookout Mountain, and enjoy incredible views of the region from the Lookout Mountain Incline Railway. Just be sure to save time for a hike or two in Rock City Gardens, where 400 native plant species and the famous Enchanted Trail enjoy vistas that reach seven states on a clear day.

It's the perfect time to experience the charms of Southeast Tennessee - book your stay at one of our Chattanooga vacation rentals today!
