This house was perfection! 2 bedrooms with super comfy beds and access to the shared hot tub from both rooms, huge en suite bathrooms with all the amenities, and a half bath upstairs with the living area so you don't have to go to your bedroom to use the facilities. Kitchen is well-stocked with cookware and some supplies. Bring spices and maybe a chef's knife if you're gonna cook! The stove was amazing! There's an ice-maker on the counter and every pot and pan you can need, plus a coffee pot and plenty of room in the fridge/freezer. There are reusable grocery bags in the cabinet. The only thing missing was storage containers/foil/parchment, which makes sense for a rental. Bring those if you're so inclined. Two grocery stores in nearby Gualala were pricey but well-stocked, and the local Upper Crust pizza was super tasty and low-key (eat outside if the weather allows!). People were welcoming and friendly everywhere we went, and the Vacasa office staff were helpful and accommodating! Do yourself a favor and explore the surrounding area! There are a ton of trails that lead to several beaches, and the weather cooperated for us in early December and was sunny every day! Definitely coming back as soon as I can!

Back again for another cozy retreat week at the Meyer House. We continue to love the rustic, artistic charm, the dry wood for the fireplace, the good hot tub, spacious kitchen, and blue water view across the meadow. The heat pump heating system worked well during the fog this week. Our favorite SR home from home!
