We were honestly surprised to see some of the lower reviews for this Vacasa unit at Boyne because our experience was the complete opposite.
From the moment we arrived, the home felt cozy, welcoming, and exactly what we were hoping for. It was spacious enough for everyone to relax comfortably, and the view was incredible with nonstop action watching skiers come down the hill. It really added to the whole experience.
Our kids absolutely loved the setup. Being able to take the lift up and then ski right back to the backyard was a game changer. It doesn’t get much better than that for a family ski trip.
Some reviews mentioned issues with entry, but we didn’t find that to be a problem at all. Like most keyless entry systems, you just need to enter the code and wait to hear the click before opening. If you try to open it too early, it will not work, which is pretty standard for these types of locks.
The place was also very clean and well kept. You are definitely not roughing it here. It is a comfortable, well maintained property. The only small thing we noticed was that the water is a bit hard, so we washed our utensils by hand… god forbid we go a bit old school up north despite some of the reviews suggesting otherwise.
Overall, this was an amazing experience for our family. We will absolutely be back and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.
