We recently stayed at this rustic cabin and appreciated the peaceful setting and overall location—it’s conveniently placed for exploring the area. The cabin itself had a certain charm and was generally clean on the surface, though it could really benefit from a deep clean to refresh the space. That said, the property shows signs of wear and could use some updates, especially the outdoor patio furniture, which was quite rusty and not really usable. The cabin could also benefit from some exterior maintenance to improve curb appeal. While the listing uses the term “resort,” it’s worth noting that the neighborhood felt a bit run-down, and the on-site general store and restaurant appeared to be closed, even though nothing in the listing suggested that. We very much appreciated the ability to check in early. That was a nice bonus! Overall, it’s a budget-friendly place to stay if you're not expecting anything fancy, but guests should be aware that the experience is more “no-frills rustic” than “resort getaway.”
