The cottage is simply wonderful. The location is perfect, close to many local attractions. It’s great for a long weekend getaway, but we wished we were able to stay longer!
We visited the Lancaster area, Hershey, including Chocolate World, the zoo & gardens (butterfly emporium), Eastland Alpacas, Kreider Farms, the local flea market and several great local restaurants.
The beautiful property has a small creek, 2 goats & chickens. The cottage itself is incredibly welcoming. It has an amazing covered front porch with rocking chairs, perfect for relaxing, & reading while listening to the sounds of the creek. All of the decor is very tastefully done and the cottage is sparkling clean. The beds are super comfy, & the kitchen has everything one would need. There is a nice furnished deck in the backyard with a grill that we used a few times for dinners.
The owner, Jody, helped to make our stay very memorable with her kindness, recommendations, & all of her attention to detail.
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in PA. Our 9 year old remarked that it was his favorite vacation, and we’d have to agree! We’ve traveled many places and this cottage is truly a gem.
