Recent Pine Mountain Lake vacation rental reviews

Nice, clean home with plenty of room for a big family. Gorgeous views of the golf course from most of the rooms. Occasional views of wildlife, and as summer comes on probably will be more. Furniture is comfortable, the beds were supplied with nice clean sheets and comfy bedding. Bathroom towels were nice and new, thick and plush white. Step saver kitchen, but is well stocked (better than most). The ad for this home DOES need to be updated. There is no gas fireplace as it has been removed, no private gas grill to BBQ on (didn’t need one this time but we do like to BBQ when our family is with us), and there was no cable. The cable and/or satellite boxes had been removed, so no watching your fav shows/news. Hopefully, this will be added to the home but if this is a must for you, you should verify with rental company that it has been added or you might be disappointed. Netflex was the only thing available at the time of our stay. One other miscellaneous thing to note, is there is no access to washer and dryer, just in case you plan to do laundry during your stay. We really enjoyed this home and the beautiful views it provides. We hope to stay here again soon and bring our family. To the owners: Thanks for opening up your home to share with us and others. I hope this review helps you to make things even better for the next renters.

Overall the house was perfect for the amount of people they advertise! Positives: Garage/game room has plenty to do along with the board games from inside, there's something for all ages. Beautiful area on the balcony to BBQ and sit to enjoy the family. Plenty of blankets and pillows. Dog friendly thankfully since we have my service dog. Negatives: one window was broken, not the glass but couldn't be open but the rest are usable so not a big deal. Screens for slider doors come on and off the track when closing and opening and there was long hair on the floor in the bathroom. The house was clean other than that though. The couches are not the most comfortable but the beds are nice. No big Negatives just simple things. Way better than being at a hotel, feels like a great vacation home! Will be going back!

Where is Pine Mountain Lake?

Just one mile north of the lush landscapes of Groveland and 26 miles west of the iconic hikes and views of Yosemite National Park, Pine Mountain Lake puts you right in the heart of California's stunning beauty. Drive just 125 miles east to the world-renowned destination of Mammoth Lakes to enjoy some top notch skiing, or in the summer indulge in the beer and music festival, Bluesapolooza, and some fast-paced mountain biking.

Things To Do at Pine Mountain Lake

As you settle into the slower pace of alpine life at your comfortable vacation rental, you'll be able to unwind in this quaint and charming town with ease. Make sure your camera is charged and you have your riding boots for a fun-filled horseback tour that takes you weaving through the towering trees and picturesque trails. Afterward, head over to the 202-acre lake to do a bit of fishing and maybe cool down with a dip in the pristine waters.

With an 18-hole championship golf course and a shop with everything you need, golf lovers will have their own slice of paradise. Play a round of tennis on the community courts before you spend the afternoon wandering through the local shops to find the perfect memento to remember your trip by.

Rent a boat to get out on the lake and maybe do a little water skiing to feel the wind rush through your hair, or find the ideal hidden cove to do a little fishing. In the winter, make the drive to Mammoth Lakes to fly down the fresh powder, or maybe stay closer to home for a snowball fight with your friends.

With warm summer days, postcard-perfect scenery in the fall, and a gentle dusting of flakey white snow in the wintertime, the Pine Mountain Lake community boasts the best of every season. No matter what time of year you come to visit, our vacation rentals in this Central California destination have something for everyone to make wonderful memories.
