Located on the west side of the island, these homes are just a short 10-mile drive from central attractions like the Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, and the Seawall.

We had a wonderful five days with our children and grandchildren in this beautiful beachfront house. The house is decorated beautifully and comfortably and was perfect for our large family. A lovely home, and we are grateful we got to use it. Great house, but not great management. There was a huge amount of putrid garbage in the downstairs area when we arrived. Looked like weeks worth, spilling out of trash cans and piled on the ground. Terrible smell. I messaged and called management. No response until the next day, when they said it would be another day till it could be picked up. More messages and phone calls and someone finally did pick it up on the second day. But frustrating to have to beg for them to take care of a very unsanitary situation. Other questions (about parking and a grill) were answered incorrectly, and I realize now they were answered by AI and not by a person who has been to the house or even to Galveston. The management company left minimal supplies: one roll of paper towels, two dish towels, minimal toilet paper, one laundry pod, and two dishwasher pods. These are relatively inexpensive and it was a hassle for us to immediately procure basic supplies. It would be nice for a home in this price range to be a little better stocked. They asked us to start laundry before we left, which I gladly did - with the laundry detergent I bought. That made us laugh. It’s a beautiful home and we had a wonderful time. But dang that was some stinky trash.
