Beautiful house, wonderful people, need updates!
We loved the gaming table, the arcade, the private pool and hot tub, and the outdoor seating.
We didn’t love that there were no baking sheets, limited silverware, only non-microwaveable dishes, only 2 full size cups, only one kitchen towel, and only 1 to 2 bath towels per full bath. There were separate pool towels - one per person.
These limited supplies lead to us having to do lots of laundry and having to wash silverware every time we wanted to eat.
Also, we were under the impression that the amenities were included but when we went to the main pool they charged us between $40-$50. The nice thing is that it was a one time charge and covered our whole party for the stay, but we didn’t know we were going to have to pay that and it was not a happy surprise. It may have been implemented after we hooked, but either way, we didn’t know to expect it. It was reasonable though, and the amenities were fantastic, so we do recommend paying the fee. The pool was a fantastic temp (warm!) but the lazy River isn’t heated and was cold, the hot tub was super hot though and large. The tennis courts are very nice but not lit at night so play during the day.
All in all it was a great house, with an expansive and well thought out floor plan. The issues we had would be an easy fix and then it would be a 5 star. The reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 3 I thought about giving was because the game table, arcade, and pool were so fantastic. I say a 3 was possible bc we let Vacasa know on our trip and they didn’t care or fix any of our issues. That was a bummer. But that isn’t this homeowners fault. There was no way to contact them.
