Tidesong was a fantastic house. The views were incredible. The location at Goat Rock Beach, inside Sonoma Coast State Park is amazing. Every morning we walked down and along the beach, always seeing the harbor seals and seeing a bald eagle two different times. The house was clean. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The gas grill worked really well. The living space was inviting. We were very lucky with the weather. It was clear and sunny every day, including three out of four mornings. The wind came on pretty strongly late two afternoons, but not the others. The house was warm and comfortable the whole time. Vacasa manages the property, and that worked really well. This is absolutely a house we will include as a regular spot for a long weekend get-aways.

This is a great house and we'd stay here again. For those unfamiliar with the area, this house is on the redwood forest (east side of Highway 1). It is up a steep hill, but there are walking trails nearby down to highway. It is a 30 minute walk to the nearest beach and about 20 minute walk to the Moonraker Rec center. The house has a great kitchen. Like most rentals it was missing a few utensils we needed (like a spatula), but generally well stocked. The bedrooms could use a refresh on comforters and pillows, but they had what we needed. Bathrooms left a little to be desired as far as the soaps provided in the showers, but were clean and had enough towels. Great dining table and living room with big TV. I tested the wifi at 100Mbs, so plenty fast.

Many of our properties include lounge chairs, umbrellas, or shaded areas by the pool, but this can vary. Check the property details and listing photos for specific details.

Generally, food and drinks are allowed by—but not in—the pool. However, to be safe, it’s best not to use glass or china in the pool area.
