The hotel is directly across from the beach, just a road separates the two. I had floor 2 and I had a room that I could see the Ocean. In order to get to the beach, you are given a code to enter the gates going onto the beach due to it being a private beach. The room was very clean. The bed was made of wood so it creaked some, but not bad. The room came with a mini fridge and stand alone ice maker. The balcony had higher seats to see over the railing. Overall, I'd stay there again depending on the rates. I stayed in January, being off season I couldn't belive the prices for hotels around. Hilton was over 350. I chose this one as it was across the beach where I could see the water. It was only myself going there for a medical appointment. The room after checking out, was 99 but the "fees" was an additonal 89 making the bill 212. I guess not bad, really. When checking in they will give you a card that has 2 codes. The room number is not listed so be sure you write it down. They do give you an armband to wear when you are on the beach and the room number is there, but I didn't realize so I was trying wrong codes. I was not given a wifi password and I didn't realize until it was that night. The staff is there 9-5. I would have been out of luck if I checked in late and had issues getting in my room like I did that morning, which was my fault since I didn't notate the room number. There is a parking garage at the hotel. They have a resturant in there, gym, sportsdeck and a crossing on level 1 that you can cross to go the beach but you walk down 4 decks so it's better to cross the road. The gentleman at the front desk seemed nice and helpful. The next morning, I had left and went to my appointment then came back to get a printout of my room to submit for travel. The lady there seemed like it was against the law to ask for a receipt, no knowledge of how to print one. I heard her ask the lady in the back and they both questioned, why do I need one. They printed something off, didn't even have the place or that on it. If they were there when I checked in, I would have given a 1 star but the gentleman was frindly and helpful. He even walked me to my room after my 3rd attempt getting in, showing me I was trying the wrong room. Overall, great hotel, across the street from the beach. The sand was so white and water crystal clear. The soaps had a good smell to. Oh, and it did have plates, glasses and silverware.
