Named for the color of the ocean, the Emerald Coast combines ethereal green waters and sugary white sand beaches to create an atmosphere unlike any other. Leave your worries behind and enjoy an exotic - and unforgettable - escape from everyday life in one of our Emerald Coast rentals!

Where is the Emerald Coast?

Emerald Coast refers to Florida's coastal area on the northern tip of the Gulf of Mexico, spanning from Pensacola to Panama City. The approximately 100 miles of coastline stretches across five counties, through untamed wildlife preserves, sand dunes, and sleepy beachfront communities. Our selection of Emerald Coast rentals combines all the fun and sun of the Sunshine State with a quieter and more family-friendly environment, allowing you to comfortably and conveniently experience all that Florida has to offer!

Beaches on the Emerald Coast

Floridians will argue adamantly and passionately over "who has the best beaches," but we'll let you in on a little secret... It's the Emerald Coast! The fine white sand is so clean that it squeaks under your bare toes, while the brilliant emerald-green water mixes with the clear blue sky overhead to create a landscape that is best described as dreamlike.

Henderson Beach State Park, located just outside the quiet resort community of Destin, is an oasis with 6,000 feet of shoreline engulfed in sand dunes and oaks. Nestled between the Gulf and St. Andrews Bay, Shell Island is a small barrier reef that offers glimpses of endangered species and as-of-yet undeveloped coastline. If you're staying on the western edge of the Emerald Coast, spend an afternoon sunbathing and splashing in the calm surf at Pensacola Beach or traversing through the 15,000 acres of wildlife preserves on Santa Rosa Island.

The beautiful beaches offer the area an added benefit - lots of fish! Deep-sea fishing is one of the most popular activities on the Emerald Coast, attracting anglers from all over the world. Even if you don't head out to sea to try your luck, you can still enjoy the catch of the day at one of the many local seafood restaurants.
