We loved eating and listening to music down at the bay. The best spots were between 2-6 blocks away. The beach was also very close. We stayed for 2+months and if you are planning to eat at home, you should bring every spatula and pan you want to use because the items there were in sad shape. The living room window over looks the pool which was fine in February but there were some very loud families using the pool in March and there were times it was too loud in the living room to really have a conversation or watch TV. But luckily it wasn’t every day. There were also a couple of late night pool parties (after hours) and the guest bedroom occupants heard every word and song. The one time our internet went down (after an island power outage) the people at Vacasca were very helpful and whoever answered the phone walked us through getting it up and running. Parking passes are “suggestions”. There was a group a few doors down that had a party and all of their guests used up all the spots. I called Vacasca and asked them to send over a tow truck and enforce the parking rules and they told me (THE NEXT DAY) to go find a spot around the corner on Gulf Blvd. When I pushed back they told me they are not responsible “for other units guests” which made zero sense to me considering I was simply talking about parking. We would have loved a black out curtain as it was pretty bright in the mornings. We did give a list of repairs needed and hopefully they will be addressed. For example: The stove is not fully functional, there are no outlets that work in either bathroom, and possibly the worst of all is the bathroom fans (that automatically turn on with the light) are EXTREMELY loud. But with all that said, the fact that the location is so great I think I would stay there again. I would just prepare a little differently.
