This house was WONDERFUL. My husband and I booked the house prior to learning about winter storm Fern and were a little iffy about coming but I am glad that we did! Being from Alabama we are used to the panic a snowstorm can ensue, but Fern seemed to miss Galveston and although the cold was still there it was a very pleasant stay. As I said, the storm and weather were iffy and most of Galveston was shut down which meant that we spent 90% of our time in the house, but I have no complaints about that. The view is spectacular, easy beach access, and the house is clean and efficient. The only 4 star I gave was for the Wi-Fi, it was a little bit unpredictable and would go up and down but that also may have been because of the weather/freezing temps. We have dogs and there is a great area for the dogs outside with a fenced yard for potty breaks. Not only does the house provide a grassy area for pets all of the entrances have gates so that if you are out on the porch or under the awning you don't have to worry about the dogs getting loose. My husband and I would both like to come back in the early fall and hope to book this house again.
