Recent Wailua Bay View - Kauai guest reviews

We have stayed in this complex before because of its location, view and beach access. This particular unit is closest to the road side of the complex but the ocean waves are pretty much the sound you hear. Beach is just down steps from the complex, and around the point you see from the condo is a State Park beach with bathrooms,etc. Note: We were concerned that Vacasa was the agent for this unit. We have had not wonderful experiences with that company in other parts of the country with very minimal starter supplies, ( no coffee filters, no hangers or hand soap in the bathroom, for example) or care for guests comfort . We believe, because the unit owner was concerned about his/her guests, it was A+.

Nice, clean, well appointed for cooking and long stays. A great view. A/C in bedroom is a bit loud, but effective. Opening the front door louvers and door to balcony did a pretty good job of cooling the rest of the unit (mid October) with a cross breeze. Great location, plenty of places to visit and eat near by. Beach access to a sandy beach. Morning coffee watching the chickens, cats and geckos was a great way to start the day.
