Exactly like it looks online. Furniture was clean, kitchen had everything we needed and beds were comfy. Close to everything we needed while we were in Bellingham.

This home was exactly what my wife and I were looking for in our getaway. We initially booked one week as a retreat, hoping for a quiet location to work remotely, rest, and recharge. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay several more nights. The cabin was perfectly located near the end of the road on the quiet side of Lake Whatcom next to a small creek. It was far enough from town, without feeling too out of the way. We had all the supplies needed with plenty of fresh towels, extra blankets and a decent assortment of cooking utensils to work with. Be sure to bring your own culinary supplies like olive oil and spices, or any favorite knives for chopping vegetables, etc. There are several grocery stores in town about 7 miles away. The cabin was very cozy. There are a few built-in space heaters in the bed and bathroom in addition to the primary electric heating unit above the main living room. This worked well to keep us comfortable even with below freezing overnight temperatures. We didn't use the wood stove. Waking up to the quiet stillness of the lake and taking in beautiful evening sunsets was memorable. We also observed a variety of different bird species around the property and on the lake. The home is just a short distance from several trailheads in Lake Whatcom Park. We didn't want to leave and hope to return again.
