Recent Groveland vacation rental reviews

We absolutely loved this house. The location is amazing. There are two bedrooms only accessible through a separate outside entrance was unfortunate but not a deal breaker, just know not to rent this house when it’s snowing. Will love to book this location again in the future.

We really enjoyed the spar and indoor fire place. The house was so clean, cozy and warm. The one thing that I want to mention is there was no coffee and coffee filter. Other than that, everything was good.
Sangwoo L. | Jan 2022
We have rented this home before and for the most part have been content. This time there were serious issues with the cable which were rectified but took two days. Sadly since our last visit quite a bit of glassware had been broken so they were only three wine glasses. Will pack some and bring them our self the next time but just wanted to let the homeowner know.

Where is Groveland, CA?

Sitting just on the west perimeter of enchanting Yosemite National Park, Groveland offers a quaint, historic downtown and easy access to Pine Mountain Lake.

Yosemite National Park

With California's most famous national park so close by, Groveland serves as a popular home base if you plan to explore Yosemite. This 747,956-acre park is absolutely stunning, with beautiful granite cliffs, tall sequoias, and majestic waterfalls.

Open year-round, you can experience everything from hiking, river rafting, and stargazing to winter sports like downhill and cross-country skiing. Downhill skiing is available at the Badger Pass Ski Area (57 miles from Groveland), the oldest ski area in California, while cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails are open throughout the park. When the snow melts, renting a bicycle and taking a day to ride around the park makes for a fantastic two-wheeled adventure.

After a delicious and filling brunch at Tangled Hearts Bakery, feel free to try horseback riding, tennis, or swimming and fishing in the lake.

Book a trip with Sierra Mac River Trips to take a thrilling ride down the Tuolumne River Canyon a few miles away, or head to Don Pedro Reservoir in the summer to boat, kayak, waterski, and more. Be sure to check for local events, like the annual Groveland Car Show, which brings auto enthusiasts from all around to show off their cars, admire other pristine and historic vehicles, and enjoy a grand time with food, music, raffles, and more.
