Make Mendocino your next getaway—choose from 20 great vacation rentals

The villages, vineyards, and breathtaking natural beauty of the Mendocino Coast - or just "the Coast," as the locals prefer to call it - make this oceanfront slice of Northern California the perfect destination for a laid-back adventure! Mendocino itself is a quaint town, home to less than 900 year-round residents. However, don't let it's relatively small size fool you - this serene escape is increasingly popular amongst artists drawn to its stunning scenery and vacationers who are attracted by the peace and quiet.

Recent Mendocino vacation rental reviews

The location of this house is amazing. We rented the house and the guest house. I honestly think it would be weird if you didn’t have both. The view was amazing and the location between Mendo and Ft. Bragg! Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. We will be back for sure.

Ocean Trails was close to Mendocino & Fort Bragg. The home was very clean and the furniture was comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, hot tub was perfect and the beds were very comfortable. Beware only that the front master bedroom has skylights so bring your sleep masks!
