Recent Lake Champlain Islands guest reviews

Loved that it was only 15 minutes to downtown Burlington. Stayed in February and loved the hot tub (I'm assuming broken basement slider will be fixed so don't have to walk all the way around the house). I imagine it would be a great place for water activities in the summer.

This location is an excellent vacation spot for any season. The serves are very responsive and professional. I had minor problems that were resolved the same day and within a very short time. Beautiful place on the lake with fantastic scenery and easy access to anything you need.

Much of Vermont is verdant and lush, and the Lake Champlain region near the Quebec and Northern New York borders isn't any different. The Lake Champlain Islands are known for their majestic seashores and gorgeous mountain views. The area boasts 200 miles of pristine coastline - you might even spy Champ, the mythic monster that is said to reside in the lake! - as well as apple orchards and farmers markets galore.

Spotted by Samuel Champlain in 1609, the area was strategic in the War of Independence and was home to several pitch battles during the War of 1812. Two centuries later, the region is a tourist mecca, thanks to beautiful beaches, places for peaceful reflection, and eager locals wanting to lend a helping hand. Our Vermont vacation rentals on these small but scenic islands offer the best respite for the weary traveler.
