Miss Ella’s is a very charming little house. The rooftop deck was amazing in the evenings, we could enjoy a little breeze and a couple of drinks for sunsets.
The AC unit in the bedroom was key, but be ready for the rest of the house to be HOT. The neighbors burning garbage all day was a bit of a put off.
For us, it was the perfect fit. A little off the beaten path, felt like island living, amenities were perfect. We fished one day and came home and prepared a fresh fish dinner that was truly amazing. Everything you need is there. We made friends with the neighbors and enjoyed finishing off the evening up on the roof deck to enjoy the waterfront views and the ocean breeze. We will definitely return to Miss Ella's......
Very cute, well appointed, great sunset views from the rooftop.
Amazing rain at night on the tin roof!!
“Veronique - the concierge - was super helpful!”
If you are used to a resort Miss Ella’s isn’t for you. If you enjoy spending time with locals and relaxing she is!
Conveniently located to restaurants and entertainment. Ten minute casual walk to the split.
Caye Caulker is a great place to stay if you are looking to decompress. Veronique and her team at Vacasa are amazing! Tell her what you want to do and she will make it happen!
It was wonderful, off the beaten path, it was comfortable and provided everything we needed. Sitting up on the roof top balcony to watch the sunsets was amazing. We will do our best to stay here every time we visit.
If you are not open minded this is not the place for you; it is in a residential neighborhood. A dog does occasionally bark and the neighbors do sometimes play their music loud, but this is their world not ours; we are just visitors. The people are friendly and very welcoming. We were made to feel right at home by everyone. How do I rate this house, Five Stars, of course!!!
The place overall was nice - the AC is great to have. However our contact to check us in on the island was almost an hour late, and was not very responsive. I borrowed the neighbors phone (he’s wonderful, he does day trips and works at Rose’s - check it out!) to call our contact, she said she had texted me - this was not the most helpful as I don’t have data and wasn’t aware she would be texting me so I didn’t go anywhere with WiFi. Overall the location was very nice, just was a difficult time wandering around not knowing how to check in. Also it pulls up on Google maps as a street over from where it’s actually located - it is on Travelers Palm.
My Husband and I just got married days before and came to Ella’s on our honeymoon. It was our first time in Belize and we felt like we hit the jackpot. The location as size was perfect! So quiet and private, yet very close to grocery stores and restaurants. We loved our stay so much and really got to rest and enjoy! Highly recommended!
Great, quiet property that's still close to everything. You can't swim right off the dock but it's a five minute walk to swimming areas. Nice kitchen that had all we needed to make dinner several nights, but if you want fresh fish you have to plan for it and ask around town earlier in the day.
Overall a wonderful trip and very helpful staff. Would highly recommend it.
My husband and I have a great few days at Miss Ella's on Caye Caulker. Lovely quiet spot with a great view. Thanks for having us!
