Built by Emma Palmer in 1912, this home is one of four Anna Maria cottages known as the "Painted Ladies" constructed in the early 1900s. In addition to a rich history and beautiful antiques, this home also boasts a spectacular location right on the soft sands of the Gulf. Popular restaurants like Ginny and Jane E's and the Sandbar Restaurant are only a quick walk away, and parking for four vehicles lets your group easily access the island's attractions. Don't feel like driving? The free trolley is an easy way to explore!
With original woodwork, beadboard, and heart pine floors, just stepping inside this home will transport you back in time. Curl up with a book or surf the free WiFi in the comfortably furnished living room, or head up the narrow staircase - built by out-of-work shipbuilders - for a quiet cup of tea in the lavish upstairs master suite. The chef in the family, meanwhile, is sure to adore the gorgeous gourmet kitchen, whose stainless steel appliances, professional-grade double oven, and 10-burner stove makes preparing meals a joy.
Outside, you'll find a beautiful backyard with a heated pool, outdoor shower, tropical landscaping, and a waterfall feature. Sip a cold drink in the shade of the Tiki hut and let the soothing sound of crashing waves wash away your stress. For a small nightly fee, you're also welcome to bring your dog along to join you!
