Dog-friendly home with upstairs loft - New Hot Tub Recently Installed!
Plan a visit to Central Oregon for the Sisters Rodeo or Folk Festival and stay at this adorable three-bedroom Sisters vacation rental! During your stay, you'll have amenities like WiFi, cable, and a DVD player, as well as a comfortable and spacious master bedroom and a cozy reading nook in the upstairs loft! Dogs are also welcome to join you here. And, take a dip in the newly installed hot tub!
A newer craftsman construction, from this Sisters getaway you can walk right to downtown. From the front porch, you can view Black Crater - a large peak in the Central Cascades. And while the shops and restaurants of downtown Sisters are just a few blocks away, in winter the Hoodoo Ski Area is only 22 miles from this Sisters vacation rental and the town of Bend is a 22-mile drive away.
Relax on the spacious front porch with a glass of iced tea or wine in the afternoons - chances are the Central Oregon weather will be nice and sunny! But when you do spend time indoors, the downstairs living room is a peaceful, comfortable spot to watch TV, read a book, or play a board game.
There's a full kitchen with granite countertops and shiny stainless steel appliances. A butcher block island provides even more space for chopping vegetables or grating cheese. And when it's time to clean up, don't worry - you'll have a dishwasher to get everything taken care of quickly. When you do sit down to meals, there are seats for six guests, and you could always sit the kids up in the family room with dinner, while the adults enjoy a sit-down meal downstairs.
Able to sleep up to fifteen guests, this Sisters vacation home has a lovely master bedroom on the main level (right off the living room) with a king-size bed and a full bathroom with double sinks, a spacious walk-in closet, and a TV. Upstairs, you'll find two additional rooms - one with a queen bed and the other a full bed and a full/single bunk bed. There is a full bathroom that these two comfortable bedrooms share (as well as an additional half bath downstairs for extra convenience). All of the bedrooms have ceiling fans, and accessories like bedside tables and reading lamps.
Also, upstairs, is a cozy little loft area - perfect for reading. A second-floor family room has a TV, DVD player, foosball table, and spots for everyone to relax - including a sleeper sofa for even more bed options at night. There are wonderful skylights up here, adding an abundance of natural light to the room. After a light dinner, just pop some popcorn and head up here for a family movie night!
The charming Central Oregon town of Sisters has a lot going for it - a gorgeous and scenic high desert geography, trails for mountain biking and hiking, and numerous fly-fishing sites along the Metolius River, Whychus Creek, and Three Creek lake. Lace up your trail shoes and head out on the Sisters Tie Trail or make your way along Black Butte Lookout - a moderate four-mile hike that boasts amazing views from its summit. And don't worry about keeping clean while you're out having an adventure - you have a washer and dryer waiting for you back at your Locust Lane Retreat.
For a community of its size (just over 2,000 residents), small-town Sisters is a popular event destination due to the annual Sisters Rodeo (June), Quilt Show (July), and Folk Festival (September), as well as thriving arts and music scene year-round. There are galleries and shops with Western-themed art, clothing, and gifts. Also, while in town, be sure to stop by the Sisters Bakery for homemade doughnuts, pizza, and chocolate eclairs or the Sisters Coffee Company on Hood Avenue for lattes and snacks in a warm, log cabin/lodge-like interior.
This Central Oregon vacation rental offers an ideal home base for exploring Sisters, attending the rodeo, or heading to Hoodoo Ski Area for a family ski trip. Whether you stay near the house and relax or go on day trips to nearby Bend and Smith Rock State Park, this Sisters retreat has it all!

Great location, clean and comfortable home located in a friendly community! Our men’s Senior Tour loved the home, the town and nearby golf courses! Highly Recommended!

We had four generations of immediate family gathering together in Sisters area. Several families stayed at the house. Great place. Clean, close to town, nice amenities.
Susan W.Jun 2020
The king bed in master suite was very comfortable. Slept great! Plenty of dishes and glassware for preparing food! East walk to downtown Sisters.
Cheryle S.Jun 2020
Very clean and great location to down town shops.
Carol S.Jun 2020
We loved the area. Close to walk the downtown streets. Close to bike trails. A nice hot tub to come home to. Well stocked kitchen for our meals.

This was a superb vacation rental. Quaint yet spacious. Very clean. Beds were very comfortable.
Was here for a weekend getaway with my daughters and sisters. In the evening we sat in the living room with the fire going.
There’s a TV in every room but we didn’t really use them.
Some deer jumped the fence into the yard when one morning which was a real treat.
Close enough to walk into town but, being winter, it was cold and sometimes raining so we drove.
If we ever return to Sisters, this will be our first choice for accommodations!
Natalie N.Dec 2019
Cute, clean house with plenty of room for our family. We loved watching movies and playing games upstairs. The best part was the location. Great view and easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants in downtown Sisters.

Spacious, comfy, and a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed our stay of two couples and our kids ages 2-6. One block walk to a park and 2-3 blocks to main street downtown.
Dianne S.Sep 2019
.... about this home. Clean, comfortable and roomy for 3 couples (the upstairs TV room was convenient for those catching the tale end of the US Open during breaks at the house). Nice front porch with lots of chairs for hanging out. Easy access (walking, driving) to downtown. Thanks!
Teresa D.Jul 2019
The yard and “back” of the home on Locust Lane are picturesque and when you turn around, so are the mountains! The interior was also quite nice with lots of space and furnishings for my family’s week long summer stay! We ran, we bikes, we boated nearby! Great rental place!
Jaisie L.Jun 2019
Location was great and perfect for our family!

Clean and spacious - could not have asked for anything better than this place. Had everything we needed - great upstairs place for kids to hang out. Will definitely stay here again.
Lisa Marie N.Nov 2018
The house was a perfect place to launch our Thanksgiving holiday in Central Oregon! The kitchen was very well-stocked, plenty of space, cozy TV loft area, and a fantastic view of the mountains from the front porch. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Super clean and comfortable. Walking distance to downtown Sisters, very convenient to Hwy 20 but no road noise. Very quiet neighborhood. Trails and outdoor adventures just minutes away. We wish we could have stayed longer!
Jason S.Nov 2018
House had everything we needed for our weekend stay and gave everyone their own space.
Rosemary H.Oct 2018
Walking distance to everything in town
Chris S.Jul 2018
Easy location. The furnishings are great, kitchen is perfect, bathrooms are great, porch and yard are perfect for evenings. Hide a bed should be replaced for a functional sleep option for 8 ( as it it is perfect for 6)
Jennifer K.Nov 2017
This house was just what we needed for us as we were travelling with four teens and each had their own space. The bonus room upstairs worked out well and the place was clean and had everything we needed.
CINDRA K.Oct 2017
Great plac e to stay if you want to walk to town and be a local.
Grace W.Aug 2017
I noticed that the prices dropped considerably post eclipse, so I say that the place was a great value at its normal prices. There were only the two of us so we ended up staying downstairs. If you have a big group, this would be a wonderful house. There are three bedrooms (2 bedrooms with large beds, and one with two twins), and an upstairs TV /game room that could serve as a 4th bedroom. The house was close to town and also close to Ray's Supermarket.
It was my choice to rent this house 6 months in advance of the eclipse and I paid top dollar. Had I known that traffic was not going to be the nightmare (as hyped by the news), I would have skipped Sisters altogether and gone straight to Madras. As it was, we did not stay here on Sunday and most of Monday. Totality was 37 secs in Sister and the smoke was very thick. You never know these things until it happens. While I have positive feelings towards the house, the fact that I overpaid doesn't sit well with me....live and learn.
Anna G.Aug 2017
We had 3 generations at the house and it was great for us. The teens took the couches. The infant had his own little sleeping room by his parents master and they had a bathroom to themselves. Grandmother had a nice room to herself upstairs.
All the equipment that we needed. Easy walk to downtown. I would recommend it!
Christine L.Jul 2017
Great local, loft could benefit from central air or better ventilation.
Anita A.Jul 2017
The property is excellent for the necessities of our family. The surrounding area was also very beautiful. We highly recommend this house.
Kelly A.Jun 2017
This home was nice but basic. Not ideal for young children because of the stairs and lack of toys. Bring your own laundry detergent, none was provided. The house was clean when we arrived but there was bites of food under the couch that the kids found and the mat near the kitchen sink was dirty. The week we were there the temperatures were in the upper 90s even reaching 100. The house did not have AC and we were extremely uncomfortable. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay. Great location in Sisters.
We will follow-up with housekeeping regarding properly stocking and cleaning the home. We are glad to see this guest still enjoyed their stay!
Elaine S.Jun 2017
Perfect for the family reunion we had in Sisters.

Bonnie B.Aug 2016
This house was very nice, clean and close to town.
Bob C.Jun 2016
What a pleasant experience dealing with the owner on this house who wants to make your rental experience positive. The house was very comfortable and accommodating for a small gathering of family and friends with plenty of room for all to gather in small groups and visit.
Carol C.May 2016
Well maintained and very clean. La Magie Cafe on Hood Ave is a newer place to eat and on a three day weekend ate there three time! The location the house is located in is evolving so some homes in disrepair with trash and junk in yards others not Properties on each side were very close, enough that you could see into some windows so that was not a plus. Back yards were right next teach other on the sides which did not appeal to our group. That said, we enjoyed our stay and found the property very clean and well supplied
David T.May 2016
We enjoyed our stay in this house. Very conveniently located with a beautiful view! The house was clean and perfect for our family during our stay. We would like to stay here again.
Gelene S.Apr 2016
Great location for all downtown activities. House is roomy. Street is very narrow, but there is ample parking for up to 4 cars in driveway. I would recommend staying there.
C Terry S.Mar 2016
This is our third time staying at this location in Sisters. Plenty of room for our family, quiet neighborhood, and an easy walk or very short drive to the business area of town. We look forward to staying here again in the future.
Dwayne C.Mar 2016
A nice, clean conveniently located place near downtown Sisters. There's no yard to speak of, but the area is so beautiful you should be out in it anyway!
Gwynne W.Jul 2015
This house is perfect for a small gathering. The house is nicely layed out with a master up and down. Both baths are roomy and nicely finished. The kitchen works and is well appointed. Furnishings were just what we needed, not overly-done as they frequently are in vacation rentals. The front yard looks over a lovely natural meadow with mountain profiles in the distance.
Nathan M.Jun 2015
i'm not the kind of guy that writes rave reviews about something like this, but we had such a good time that I can't help but at least mention that this house, location, and the overall experience just couldn't have been better. We stayed here with another family; we have a seven, five, and one-year-old, and our friends had two kids of similar age. We were extremely comfortable and happy at the home. When we do this again, we will try and get the same house.
Lori S.Apr 2015
Only 2 small complaints: The pillows, being down, were very soft and had to double them up. We were able to borrow some from family in town. Also the pull out sofa was pretty uncomfortable and so my daughter just used the extra pads in the master closet and slept on the floor. But we loved the house and would like to return!!
Thank you for your thoughts; we will discuss them with the owner. We look forward to having you come back and stay with us! Thank you for choosing Vacasa!
Marc D.Feb 2015
We had a great time. Would do it again, kind of dark at key location unless we thought to turn on outside light by garage door. We were pleasantly surprised with how new the house felt and how comfortable we all felt. We loved our experience.
Emily K.Jan 2015
Stayed here with my 2 kids and the property was perfect! Had everything we needed then some! Thanks again!
Terry S.Aug 2014
We were quite pleased with our stay in this house. Very nicely furnished, this was truly a comfortable place for our family while in the Sisters area. We would certainly be happy to stay here again.
