House was perfect size for our family of four, plus dog. Plenty of fans and window treatments, so the house did not get too hot in the 100+ degree weather - the house stayed cool until the direct sun hit mid-afternoon, then fans and open windows were enough to keep things from overheating. The wifi was plenty sufficient (for keeping up with work + a teen taking driver's ed via Zoom). The kitchen was well stocked (without being overly so). House was clean and tidy, and cozy. Everything was great and we had a lovely stay! (We even saw a bear run across the meadow one day!). Thank you!

Really quaint home. We were in town for work and needed somewhere close for our off hours. Perfect amount of space, kitchen had everything we needed too. The hot tub was a nice touch in the cold temps.
Note to winter travelers! Our GPS took us on a Forest Service road as the one that the house is on apparently is closed during winter months. This road was in HORRIBLE condition and ended up being blocked with snow and we had to turn around. We couldn't get to the home our first night and had to pay to stay in town at a hotel. After some driving we found the "closed" road was 100% clear for driving.
Would definitely stay again despite the unplanned adventure.

We absolutely loved our stay in this cozy cabin! We planned for a romantic anniversary weekend and this had everything we needed. The cabin has a well-stocked kitchen, wood stove, and the porch with a hot tub overlooking the meadow and forested hillside was absolutely stellar. The cabin is situated on the lot so you feel totally private which is wonderful. The general layout with the two loft beds would be ideal for families as well. It was wonderful to have this private, forested retreat for a few days. The only thing we wished for was firewood for the wood stove!

This is a very cute condo. The open kitchen concept is beautiful and easy to work around. The place was fairly clean. (Couldn’t help but notice all the doors had dirty black fingerprint markings on it from previous stays and that is a little frustrating seeing that knowing you pay a cleaning fee.)
This place is out in the mountains and you defiantly have your privacy. There are a lot of windows and very few have window treatments on them so it was a little nerve racking traveling with five women and no option to close the blinds.
The house is listed as a 4 queen beds/2 and that was a little deceiving. Two of the bedrooms are not even rooms and you have to get up via stairs or ladder. There is a baby gate as a door to the “room” No one would be able to successfully bring up their luggage to put up there nor are you able to stand up vertically in the actual bedroom. One of the guest decided sleeping on the couch was more comfortable due to the face neither of those “rooms” had AC vents, closets or doors. Some room for improvement on the arrival of guest....The house AC was set for 55 degrees when we arrived and the outside temperature was 28 so it was a little frustrating that the heat was not turned on for arrival.
Also, one fire burning log is provided and seems to be the only type that worked in the place. Extra wood was provided but didn’t burn at all after many attempts.
Also, no more than two people can be on WiFi or it won’t work. (We has to watch a DVD because the WIFI wasn’t working one of the nights)
Full length mirror would go a long way for travelers too. The only mirror provided in the guest bathroom is a small magnetized mirror on the window sill.
Just some little things I believe would help improve the stay.
We did have an overall good time. The fees tacked on were excessive to me for what was provided.
It did snow overnight and when we woke up it was a winter wonderland. Very beautiful. The pictures from that morning were exquisite. The property manager did bring over salt and a shovel but we only got snow the one night. Overall good experience. Might seem over the top but Christmas decorations or any holiday decorations would add to the experience as well.
Thank you for leaving your review with us! We apologize for the confusion with the bed situations. We do our best to thoroughly describe and photograph our homes for our guests, and we are sorry to see anything came as a surprise. We do provide a fire log to get guests started, but not more than that due to the difficulty of keeping wood dry here. We hope to see you again!

Great location, lots of room for family & furry family members!

I really liked the quiet location and the home was newer and clean. The lock box is a pain to open. We had to call for assistance and the backup box didn’t work either. I would suggest something easier. The hot tub needs to be cleaned. The water wasn’t dirty but the tub itself looked dirty, especially around the jets. Beds were not bad. I know someone said they were not comfortable but they must have added some extra padding. A little outside green space would have been nice. Someplace to go throw a ball around or let the kids run around in.

Home is in a great location and remote, most times we felt completely alone. It was an excellent spot for 2 couples and our dog to enjoy some quiet time. Driveway/entrance is a little rough but expected given the location. Home is good size with plenty of space for 4 of us.
A few small items were missing (plastic wrap, enough laundry detergent) also got a small splinter sitting on the wooden Adirondack chairs. Be on the lookout for the driveway on the right side of Merry Canyon Drive, it kind of snuck up on us. Grass in the meadow area surrounding the home was extremely high, likely from winter/spring rains.
The kitchen worked well combined with the gas grill for cooking and the table had plenty of space. Porch was wonderful - lots of quiet reading time! It faces directly west so it was not as warm in the morning, and the umbrella came in handy in the afternoon but it was a welcome experience. Hot tub was also excellent and fit 4 people easily - and having the fireplace roaring inside was a nice treat afterwards. There was a dog bed available and food bowls - though we brought our own bed for our dog so she'd be familiar with it. We drove into Leavenworth once - only 15 minutes away or so.
Would recommend this for anyone looking for a quiet retreat away.

Nice but comfortable. Great rental for a dog.

Great location, approx 15 min drive from the downtown Leavenworth area. The home itself is very stylish and modern. Cell reception was not that great and neither was WiFi but if you’re there to disconnect this is the place.

This place was perfect for our family of 4 (and two furry family members). The hot tub was wonderful at the end of a day of sledding right on the property. The layout and interior design of this little home was exactly what my dream cabin would look like. We will definitely be back!

Great place to spend a few days with the family. Plenty of room, nice and private location. One minor issue resolved quickly by Vacasa. Would definitely book again!
Nicole C.Feb 2019
The home was very cute and secluded. We definitely enjoyed our time in the hot tub as the snow falled around us. The only thing I would mention is if you plan on coming in the winter months - the driveway can be hard to navigate if you are in a smaller vehicle as there was a lot of snow.
Otherwise, it is short, peaceful drive to downtown and relaxing area!

Perfect location, winter wonderland with privacy, a light, clean atmosphere, friendly to my well-behaved goldendoodle, amazing beds and bedding, overall lovely experience and perfect facility for a girls weekend for four. The hot tub is magical in the snow, but we were only able to use it two of the three nights due to it malfunctioning and dropping to 89 degrees the final night. One of the bedrooms on the bottom floor has no heat, and the main room register does not work either so my one friend was cold all night. We had to buy our own wood from town for the wood stove to heat the house in the evenings despite strong heaters in the other rooms. Those are literally the only complaints I can come up with. We snowshoed, went into town for the ice festival one day, took long naps, read books and played games while having every comfort of home provided for us. Don’t take the long way around in the winter, MERRY CANYON RD IS OPEN, dont listen to your GPS. Thank you Meadowlark for the memories!

What a beautiful and new house, in a peaceful meadow setting! Everything in the house was really nice, the beds were really comfortable and cozy, bathrooms nice, and the house was clean! Hot Tub was awesome, and with a nice view of the meadow.

Loved this cabin in the woods. Everything felt brand new. We went to unplug for a couple days, it was the perfect escape! Was also a short 15 minute drive into Leavenworth.
