Beds were comfortable. A good comfortable nights sleep is important before and after hiking up Half Dome. Everything was just as we hoped for our group of six. Everything was clean. Temperature control good. Bathrooms fine. Kitchen was great.
The owner needs to replace a post on the railing of the upstairs deck. The post is partly rotted and the top part will give way allowing the rail to push out leading to a person falling off the deck. A disaster waiting to happen.
Manager response:
We appreciate our guest bringing the post to our attention. The owner has been notified and is planning on repairs this winter. We are glad to see the stay was otherwise enjoyable!
