The house was just right for our group. We hold a retreat each year for program directors and found this house to be perfect for a group of around 17. Nice space for meeting with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and a kitchen that worked for preparing our own meals.

From check in the houses did not disappoint and were perfect for our large group. We particularly enjoyed the large open living areas and access to the river - which we floated to the Harper bridge (about 2.5 hours). Thanks so much for such a memorable place!

The setting is perfect. It was wonderful waking up each morning to such a beautiful view. The home was almost perfect for our family. The number of master bedrooms was just right and there were places for all the kids. The teens and pre-teens loved the cottage. The one drawback is that a couple of the younger pre-teens left the cottage to sleep in the main house, as they were scared being all on their own. But the older ones loved it. The home is also in an ideal location as there are many things to do in the Bend area. We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation week.

Had an awesome time. Loved the house! Perfect for our large family gathering of 26 people of all ages. Close to Sunriver Resort with many things to do. Highly recommend!

Our family had a small reunion here for 5 nights over the 4th of July, with children ranging from 2 to 14 and we had an excellent time.

The property consists of a main house and a small cottage, which was excellent for giving people their space, however the cottage rooms were very small and in general it is much less up to date than the main house considering the cost of the rental (even factoring in holiday premiums).

The river is peaceful and beautiful and our family loved grilling on the deck, resting in the hammocks and hot tub and I'm sure the fire pit is awesome when allowed (it was closed during our stay for fire season).

Unfortunately, the internet never worked consistently during our stay. We were told it was because of an outage affecting Bend, but we had issues the entire time. Note there are kayaks and rafts for the river on the side of the house but they are locked up, so if you want to float you'll need to rent them.

All in all, this is a great waterfront home which is well suited to family reunions and corporate retreats!
Manager response:
We are glad to hear the home’s spacious layout and amenities served your family well for such an enjoyable reunion, Ilia! We apologize for the internet issues we were experiencing during your stay but we are happy to report that this has since been resolved and service is back online. There are many local rental options for canoes, kayaks and paddle-boards which can be launched right from the home’s dock. We look forward to hosting you again!

Awesome location, well maintained home

This home has everything hot tub, frisbee golf, Xbox, ping pong, pool table, fire pit/place and river front of course. Our work retreat have plenty of room for brainstorming, separate sections to work together and then plenty of activities in the off time. If your looking for a secluded, not to far from town, large house for group gatherings this is perfect. My only complaint is we were not there longer and the weather wasn't slightly warmer--then again thats what the fire and hot tub are for.

Wonderful riverfront property and plenty of space for a large group to spread out inside and outside.

Great location near Sunriver and not that far from Bend. Beautiful wilderness setting.

Beautiful location with a short drive to Sunriver and 30-minutes away from Mt. Bachelor. Well-stocked kitchen with real cookware, appliances, and enough tableware for a large group (we had 20).

The property was beautiful, quiet, and had some snow! Kids loved playing outside. Small hill is good for some quick sledding, while only 30 minutes from Mt Batchelor. Kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed for a large group. Cottage was quaint and perfect for added space.

What an amazing property! This vacation will go down as one of the best ever, the house and cabin were both clean as well as being well furnished and comfortable. The local wildlife and the proximity to nature was unbeatable, this place is terrific. I would recommend the Riverfront Retreat to anyone!

The property was perfect for our 8-family reunion. We loved the proximity to the river and floated every day! Kitchen was big and had everything we needed, rooms were spacious, everything was super clean and we enjoyed the hot tub and BBQ and large outdoor space. So many great things about this place! The owners were also wonderful to work with, very responsive and pleasant to correspond with. Highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful, secluded property - yet very convenient to Sunriver. Great space for get togethers, inside and out. It had everything we needed, including lots of activities. We never felt the need to leave the property! Can't beat the view from the hot tub... or anywhere for that matter! I can't recommend enough.
