resort was lovely, staff very accommodating and friendly, Room was a bit run down, lights were wobbly and wood trim needed some refinishing. Otherwise room nice but resort is lovely

Love the amenities at the Resort at Squaw Creek. This unit is comparable to a standard hotel room, with mini-fridge and Keurig. Very comfortable if you don't need a lot of extra space.

Perfect resort for couples and families. All amenities onsite.
Harvest D.Aug 2017
the room is comfortable, and clean with a nice view of the courtyard of Squaw Creek and partial golf course view.

Make sure your room is cleaned before you check in. Otherwise you may be waiting an eternity for the Vacasa guest services staff to fix the problem.

My family really enjoyed our stay here. We came for 4 days, 3 nights and enjoyed the convince of everything from the lovely buffet breakfast every morning, to the complimentary shuttle to Squaw so we could ski and tube and the multiple hot tubs to relax in each evening! Also found being able to rent ski equipment and buy our lift passes at the resort to be SO convenient, rather than having to deal with longer lines at Squaw. Fabulous Vacation!

We love this resort and excited to see this option through Vacasa. Will definitely book again!

This is a hotel room, irrespective of being individually owned. Its definitely not setup like a condo; Its setup exactly as you would expect a hotel room to be setup. The resort is nice; the eating facilities are very good. The resort should build a cover or awning covering the 200 or so feet of open area that you must walk thru outdoors to get between the main resort building where the restaurants are located to the building that houses all the hotel rooms.

Clean, well managed property, but be sure to bring ear plugs for the thin walls. There's lots of corporate events that happen in the hotels... so it can get noisy.
The room has a beautiful views, but during winters with heavy snow, a big pile of snow blocks the view. Also, if you're on a budget, the food is expensive and just so-so. Unless you have a car, there is very little access to affordable wine shop and grocery stores. Your stuck with the $25 per person buffet or the starbucks-like breakfast deli attached to the hotel. But overall, it's a nice, ski in ski out hotel/condo.

I have skied at Squaw Creek for many years but had never stayed at the Resort at Squaw Creek until this last weekend. We will definitely come back and we would book this room again, if available. The price was reasonable, beds were very comfortable. We loved all the amenities, including the shuttle to the Village and the ski valet. The Squaw Creek chair right outside the building made this resort truly ski in ski out.

Great location and shuttle service to the festival! Enjoyed being close to the event but not in the midst of everything. Resort has lots to do (especially for families) and was a peaceful place to call home during our stay.

My buddy and I came to ski for a week at Squaw Valley. Having a ski/rental/apparel store right at the resort is super convenient not to mention the Squaw Creek chairlift serving the resort. The breakfast buffet was amazing and something we took advantage of every morning before skiing. We enjoyed the three hot tubs in the evenings after skiing. The location and amenities of the resort made this the most convenient ski trip ever- everything you need is all at the resort. The nearby town of Tahoe City provided anything else you could need on a trip (more restaurants, grocery stores, etc). As for the room, all was in good order. The room was clean and well furnished for what it is- a small studio with two beds. This more than met our needs as we were there to ski, not to chill in the room all day. The double shower head shower was nice and had great pressure. The staff at Squaw Creek resort were always super friendly. This would include almost daily interactions with staff at: valet, doormen, bellmen, front desk, house cleaning, wait staff at Cascades, ski rental shop (especially Christian), retail ski shop, ski check, and those at Sweet Potatoes deli. We avoided valet parking our vehicle ($30/night!) and self parked which is just a three minute walk from the front door of the resort- easy. Overall an awesome stay at a beautiful resort located right at the base of the mountain. If I go back to Tahoe with my girl we will be staying here.

Nice to have a rental that has air-conditioning! It was hot over the 4th, and A/C was appreciated, especially at night.
