Loved the location and it was beautiful. Loons, families of ducks, frogs, and the pond itself made for a real connection with nature. Had a minor water problem and the nice and helpful Vacasa staff and owner resolved it super quick and on a Sunday no less. Equipped with a swimming platform and pedal boat you can get the most from heart pond. My kid hates to paddle, but loved to pedal. Excellent! I’d go back anytime. We cooked risotto Milanese and pasta primavera so the kitchen was decent enough and for a cabin: great. The setting even though right by the road was peaceful.
For the things you might want to know: this is a cabin, so if you fill every bed (6) and everyone wants a hot shower, you’ll need to spread that out a bit. We had three and it wasn’t an issue.
While the stove was nice, and I made some tasty meals there, I wouldn’t try to make pasta for 8 due to the output of the burners.
The driveway entrance can be tricky to spot at first and given any traffic, may require a bit of focus from the driver for best results.
