We loved our time in the Osprey cabin. A special thanks for allowing us to bring our furry babies as well. We loved the daily visits by the neighborhood deer and bunnies.

With plenty of space for our two boys to explore, the cabin was a great place to enjoy what Bend and surroundings have to offer. Cool evenings and warm days were made even more relaxing with a dip in the hot tub. It really felt like a home away from home.

This log cabin has the right balance of away from it all while also giving you the amenities you need to stay as connected as you want. Surrounded by pines you can sit on the porch and watch deer amble through the yard, or big black bunnies, or quick chubby squirrels. The house was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was pristine and relaxing. The beds were not as comfortable as we would have liked, but we survived. Shower was tricky to figure out (pull down the ring around the mouth of the spout) and there are a lot of light switches that don’t seem to turn on anything. The house would benefit from some judicious use of a labler to help. Also there were lights around the back porch that we couldn’t figure out how to turn on. Pro tip: Bring all of your groceries because the local stores are OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. Imagine buying orange juice or baby food at a convenience store plus another 15%. We went hiking and took the Paulina Plunge tour. The house is very pet friendly, the backyard is fenced although I would not recommend leaving dogs unattended if you have escape artists/diggers. Lots of room to run around for the dog.
Manager response:
Thank you for your feedback, Jen. We appreciate your feedback and allowing us to improve for our future guests. We will be sure to bring your comments to the attention of the local staff. Also, we would like to note that dogs should not be left unattended at any time in our homes or fenced yard unless they are being kept in a dog crate/kennel. We look forward to hosting you again very soon!
