Luxurious estate on 10 acres w/ Japanese bath & tea house, gardens & tennis!

Find luxury and sanctuary on 10 acres of spectacular Sonoma County countryside at Vineyard Oaks Estate, a custom-built retreat that sits adjacent to multiple wineries and vineyards. Stunningly and thoughtfully decorated with Berkeley Mills craftsman furnishings, handmade rugs from Nepal, and original art and tile work throughout, this home is a space for comfort, rest, and rejuvenation.

This expansive piece of property features plentiful indoor and outdoor space for your enjoyment and relaxation. The traditional Japanese bath and tea house is made entirely from Alaskan cedar, offering a soaking tub, space for yoga or for a masseuse to set up, and the tranquil ambience of an at-home spa. You can read in the surrounding gardens, play tennis on the private court, take walks through the redwood grove and the citrus orchard, pick strawberries and herbs, or escape into the treehouse. After a day of wine tasting in the Sonoma sunshine, you can prepare dinner on the grill in the outdoor kitchen, dine on the expansive deck, and open a local bottle of wine as you recline around the outdoor firepit.

What's nearby:
This wine country estate sits across the street from Marimar Estate Vineyards & Winery, and within a short drive of countless other world-class Sonoma County winemakers. You can ride your bikes into downtown Graton (two miles northeast) for a wonderful meal, head three miles west to the ever-charming town of Occidental, or book a treatment at the Osmosis Day Spa in Freestone six miles south. The Russian River - a wonderful spot for swimming and kayaking - is 10 miles northwest. And if you'd like to explore Sonoma County's ruggedly beautiful ocean shores, you'll be a 15-mile drive from Doran Beach and Bodega Bay.

Wonderful, peaceful property with great indoor/outdoor spaces and a fabulous, well equipped kitchen. Perfect for a family getaway in the time if covid.

Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home and property. It was the perfect spot to make our Christmas Eve dinner and deeply relax. The Japanese Bath is a treasure, so beautifully crafted and cared for. We hope to make it back one day. Have a lovely 2020!

This is the first AirBnB home that I could imagine coming back to, over & over, in the future. Normally, an AirBnB is just an AirBnB. We love everything about the house, the view, the bath house and the whole property. I'm writing this on a rainy morning from the kitchen, looking at the trees and the vineyard. We are planning to return again. Thank you very much for a wonderful experience.

We came together for a family get together having come from London, Hong Kong, and San Francisco. We especially enjoyed having tea in the garden room and stood on the porch enveloped by the soft rain. The house and gardens are indeed very special and the generosity of our host is greatly appreciated!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with family and friends, soaked in the bath and enjoyed each other's company for three days. Thank you for creating and sharing all of this with us. It's a special place and your intention and thoughtfulness shines through. Thank you.
