My friends and I were looking for a place to get away from the city. And this was perfect for our group of 12 people.

Beautiful house and great location/view. Fully stocked kitchen utensil, with plates and pans. Internet was down, but wasn't overly concerned.

Coming from a family of 6, it is tough to find a home large enough for us all to gather for tige holidays. We were greeted by the neighbor's adorable labradoodle while taking in the view of the river. Although we took the virtual tour online, it was exciting to locate beds and claiming your sleeping quarters. The livingroom furniture was not as cozy as we hoped for gathering around the fire or watching the football games, but in no way a deal breaker. The hot tub location made it fun to find and perfect with viewing the snow and not walking in it to take a dip. Our younger guests made use of the small slope in the side of the house with sleds and snow angels. The sleigh rides we head booked were 5 minutes away, and the Plain wine cellars were also close and reasonably priced for us to spend some time reminiscing of christmases past. While the town of Leavenworth was further away, we went for a few hours and ate brats, shopped, and saw the lights in all their glory. We all agreed that rather than buying gifts for one another we should continue finding homes large enough to accompany us all and spend time together.
