Welcoming home w/ private hot tub, SHARC passes & entertainment, great location!

One of the newest homes in the original heart of Sunriver awaits your next golf getaway or ski weekend! With two master suites and a private outdoor hot tub, this well-appointed getaway offers fabulous amenities in a very comfortable and cozy family-friendly home.

All the shopping and dining of the Village at Sunriver are just a short walk away, but the home feels very peaceful nestled in the evergreens quiet Jay Lane. This special getaway has a fantastic location in the original heart of Sunriver, but is considerably newer and brighter than most of its neighboring homes. Few other vacation rentals offer the same combination of such a central location and modern amenities, making this house a unique find

This lovely cabin in the woods is perfect for a few couples traveling together or even a dual-family vacation. In the airy great room, vaulted windows overlook the surrounding forest, and an open floor plan makes it easy for your whole group to spend time together.

In the seating area, a plush sectional sofa sits before the handsomely tiled gas fireplace and a cable TV with DVD player. On chilly winter nights, there is no better spot for a movie night!

Just behind the living area, the open kitchen makes it easy for the chef in the group to socialize with other guest while making use of the updated appliances and well-stocked cabinets (all the pots and pans, dishes, cooking utensils, and dinnerware you might need is provided). Four stools line the breakfast bar for casual snacking or sipping on a glass of wine, and a six-person dining table sits before the towering windows so you can enjoy the forest views while you eat.

Of course, in warmer weather, you can head to the outdoor patio to soak up the sunshine and fresh mountain air. Plenty of seating is provided for outdoor dining or an afternoon game of cards, and the nearby hot tub is surrounded by a half-wall for extra privacy. After a day spent hiking, fishing, skiing, or simply window-shopping, nothing feels better than soaking under the stars!

The home has three bedrooms and three full baths, and has been thoughtfully designed to provide extra space for two couples or families vacationing together. The traditional master bedroom has a king bed, television set, and attached bath. The second master bedroom is in the beautifully refurbished garage, carefully transformed to provide a separate suite with queen bed, sitting area with cable TV/DVD player, private bath, and easy access to the hot tub and deck. The third bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed and its own television set.

Older guests or those with mobility issues will find the house quite accessible, with virtually no stairs and a walk-in shower. Those planning longer stays will certainly appreciate the on-site washer/dryer and wireless Internet access.

One of Sunriver's 37 miles of paved bike paths passes right by the house, and within a mile of your front door are many of the town's most popular destinations: shopping and dining at the Village, indoor swimming pools and year-round tubing hill at SHARC, and golfing at the Meadows, which offers 18 lushly landscaped holes as well as an all-ages putting course.

At any time of year, Sunriver offers amazing access to the best outdoor activities in central Oregon, from rafting the Deschutes River, to hiking through the national forest, to world-class skiing at Mt. Bachelor (only 20 minutes away).

Whether you are planning a girls' getaway, golfing retreat, romantic weekend, or just a good old-fashioned family vacation, this special Sunriver getaway will make you feel right at home in the heart of all the action!

We liked almost everything about staying at the resort, except one of the beds, for one of the couples in our group, was slumping in the middle, so caused some discomfort.
Also we did not realize there was no air conditioning which bothered some of our party at times. Otherwise the site was clean, quiet, attractive, and had everything we needed.

We had a blast at Sunriver. The cabin was straight up the middle. The AC didn’t work, no tv remote in the main room, needed a good cleaning when we arrived. But, we still had a blast. Hot tub was hot and the cabin is in a great location. Walk to the Shark or the village, both are about 10 minutes. Bikle to either in 2 minutes. Shark passes were great.
Manager Response:
We apologize this guest wasn't fully satisfied with their stay. This home does not have air conditioning, but we do provide fans, and we replaced the remote. Thank you!

Location ,kitchen, bedrooms, bath and travel soaps well equipped ie. towels, kitchen, fans, BBQ, overall a wonderful place to stay. Thank you
Shannon V. June 2018
Ease of access ... all one story. Close to the village & sharc.
3 bathrooms! Well equipped kitchen. Vacasa staff at Sunriver office were super helpful! Thank you!
Corie S. February 2018
Overall, this house is a great space and affordable with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We really enjoyed the hot tub too!
Liz S. July 2017
Everyone enjoyed the common space and the separate bedrooms/baths. Had a wonderful time. Had everything we needed 😎😀 (other than a/c !) Thank goodness for fans.
Nicky H. July 2017
Nice house, great location. Walking distance to village and SHARC. Greenbelt was right out the back of the property. Only drawback was no air conditioning but plenty of fans were provided.
Jasmine S. December 2016
Booking was so easy, I even got a follow up call after I began the booking process but didn't get time to complete it. House was perfect for our needs. Fireplace was devine (gas) and easy to flick on and off when coming in and going out.
Katherine D. September 2016
It accommodated everything we need and the kitchen was well-stocked with necessities. Games and blankets in the closet. The hot tub was nice to have for our own. The village is in riding distance. All around a very good house.

My only note would be if you need a nice bed with back support this isn't the best option.

This home is located perfectly with surrounding areas close by. Inside the home, the floor throughout could use a facelift. Carpet was quite dirty and stained. No A/C, with fans provided we tried our best to keep home cool, but I would probably consider visiting at another time of year as it was quite loud and a bit of a nuisance to try and maintain. Deck and patio area could be better as well and more comparable to surrounding homes. Would consider staying again because of great location.

We loved the location to this house. We could walk to the village and the Sharc. It was a quick and easy bike ride to the park. The house was clean and my oldest daughter was pleased to have a t.v. in her room with cable (we don't have cable at home). Plenty of room for my family of four and comfortable beds. The house was in a quiet cul-de-sac, but we could hear the train at night, but with the fans in the bedrooms, drowned out most of the noise. It was a hot week while we were there and this house was hard to keep cool. Fans were available in each room but, none of the front windows opened up to help move the air out at night. This place would benefit from ceiling fans at least. Nice BBQ that allowed us to grill at night, since too hot to cook inside. The kitchen had everything we needed.
Charles H. August 2016
This property gets really hot inside, with only stand up fans for cooling.
Ann M. July 2016
It's a great place to stay with kids! LAyout was easy for little kids and also offered privacy for older ones.
Easy walk to the Village and to SHARC.
Kimberly B. July 2016
Overall great place to stay for short visit.
Barbara W. June 2016
No AC. Good location--close to SHARC and immediately off of the walk/bike trail. Uncomfortable mattresses.
Dean J. March 2016
Cozy home
Ann L. February 2016
oken dishwasher, fridge shelf holder fell off, only 6 towels in the entire house and they were in the dryer upon arrival, ice maker didn't work
Manager Response:
We apologize that the dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer were not functioning properly. We have scheduled maintenance to come and take a look so the appliances can be fixed right away for future guests.
Brody P. January 2016
We spent New Years at this home with our 3 girls and one set of grandparents. The home met and exceeded our needs. Here is a brief synopsis of the good and the not so good.

Location is awesome. Easy walk to the SHARC we walked to the tube run and an easy walk to the Village.
Amenities - this is not a fancy 5 star home where you feel like no one has ever lived there before. It's a family home that feels like a family home. The appliances function but are not top of the line. The carpet is clean but you can see a small stain or two. The beds are comfortable but not top of the line. There is a tv in every room which is nice. The hot tub is clean. We prefer this to some of the really fancy places we have stayed as it feels like a home not a museum and we were not afraid we would break something. The microwave made a horrible sound when used but worked fine. It wasn't an issue we felt needed immediate addressing so we didn't worry. The washer and dryer are functional and they provided plenty of soap to do a few loads while we were there.

You will not be disappointed renting this home if you are realistic in your expectations. If you want a museum or fancy place this is not it. If you wants something comfortable and family friendly get this place.

very comfortable home that made our stay spectacular!
Christian L. September 2015
This house has a good location to the Village and SHARC, which was what we were looking for. The Village is a short 5 min walk and the SHARC about 15. The house has a garage that was converted to a bedroom. The beds are hard and make a lot of noise when moving around. The pillows also didn't provide much support. We couldn't figure out how to use the shower in the hallway bathroom. A couple of the towels were frayed and torn on the ends. The kitchen was nice and all appliances were in good general working order. The microwave made a lot of noise when running. There was a hole in the back of the freezer of the refrigerator. I am guessing there was once an ice maker installed and now removed. The ice cube trays were all brittle and broken. I am always amused to see tube TVs given how outdated they are. There was one LCD TV in the master bedroom that was so tiny, we could barely see it. The hot tub was nice, but we had some concerns about the chlorine level after testing it. We called the company that does maintenance on it as instructed if we had concerns about the water test before using it. They assured us it was safe to use and said they would come out, but not sure if they ever did. We didn't use the hot tub after that. There was an older BBQ there that worked out very well for us. Overall, the house worked out good for us for such a short stay, size and location. This property still worked out better for our family of 5 versus getting a hotel room. We did enjoy the stay, but not very impressed with the property and unlikely we would rent this house again. My recommendation is to do some minor upgrades, particularly the bedding and TVs.
Manager Response:
Thank you so much for sharing your review and your feedback. We are pleased to announce that the owner had made some major updates to this home since you stayed. To name a few, the beds and fridge have been replaced! There are also new updated TVs to use in the home. Quite a few other items were repaired or replaced to make this wonderful home feel like new. Thank you so much for all the feedback and we hope you get a chance to come back and experience it anew!
Brandi B. September 2015
PROS: Location is awesome! Short walk to village and to the SHARC. Right on the bike path and easily spotted (only yellow house around).
CONS: The house size was perfect for 6, but there are several things that need to be updated or replaced. The carpet is very stained, the fridge is falling apart, the microwave doesn't work well, the HVAC is very loud and fan runs constantly, the TVs are very small or don't work correctly in the bedrooms and several other small things that need to be updated or maintained.
Overall, the house was great for our family!! The location is ideal and the house size and open floor plan are perfect, so if some updates and maintenance are done, I would highly recommend it.
Manager Response:
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We apologize for the maintenance issues you experienced during your stay and we are proud to announce that since your stay, many of the item you mentioned were replaced or repaired! A new fridge was installed and the carpet were deep cleaned to restore them back to new. The old TV’s have also been replaced with new ones. We are glad to see that you enjoyed the location and that the house size worked out well for your group!
Ray A. August 2015
This home is at a great location near the Village and the SHARC. Eight passes for the SHARC are included, which is great. With 3 Beds and 3 Baths, the unit can easily accommodate 3 couples. It's difficult not to have a great time here with all of the activities around!

We felt that the home itself was nice but that the furnishings could be upgraded: TVs, DVD Player, Refrigerator, Beds, etc. Hopefully these items are improved to help make this a prime rental property.
Judith F. July 2015
Fits 10 people nicely, especially with 3 baths. Clean, great location, on the bike path, lots of games, TV in each room, washer/dryer.
Eric S. June 2015
We had the most excellent stay at Sun River - terrific bike trails, hiking, SHARC swim center - something for everyone to do!
Carolyn K. May 2015
A very nice house. As we were two married couples, the privacy of the bedrooms was greatly appreciated. The house is in a great location; walking distance to The Village and to the SHARC.
Douglas H. April 2015
Our stay was so relaxing. Our home was clean and the kitchen especially was well equipped. The hot tub was wonderful, especially when it was snowing. The beauty outside was so wonderful. Very quiet and peaceful stay. Thank you for a great vacation experience.
Ron L. December 2014
4 Jay Lane in Sun River, OR. is a nice, fully equipped little cabin. The location is great- close to the village, and not far from the ski area. The cabin is not luxurious, and there is no garage, but was just fine for our family to call home for three days.
Manager Response:
Hi, thank you for your review. We are Happy that you had a pleasant stay with us. This is a fun and beautiful location for a family vacation or a friend’s weekend getaway. We love the convenience of this rental and how close it is to entertainment such as indoor swimming, golfing, and hiking trails. We have also taken note of the suggestions you made for improvement as well as I will get confirmation of where to place any recycling. We are glad that you had a wonderful stay with us and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
Patrick T. August 2014
It would have been a more comfortable stay had the air conditioning worked. The many house fans mitigated the heat somewhat. Bed mattresses need to be replaced/updated.
Stan And Rebecca M. July 2014
We just spent 2 nights at 4 Jay Lane and it was quite nice. In a good location right next to one of the main bike paths in SR. This home had a nice kitchen, sleeping for 4 adults and we brought along our 2 grandchildren. One nice "perk" of 4 Jay Lane was the SHARC passes that were available, the kids love that play! Overall our stay was very nice and comfortable.

Vacasa comes through again! This is the second time we've stayed at Jay 4 and will do it again. Great clean (no pets/smoking) one level home , 3 bdrm, 3 bath, 4 TV, HT, SNARC passes. What's to want for? Well, upgrading the master bdrm TV to a 26" or even a 32" would be nice. Oh, and maybe add a cheapo DVD player while you're at it? Kinda hard watching while relaxing in bed. All in all a wonderful experience. Snowed 3" second day, but didn't deter us and our grandsons one bit. Went to the High Desert Museum and Goody's Chocolate Factory Tour....and then the indoor SNARC pool. Rode bikes the next day through some slush on the bike paths. A very memorable experience riding and throwing snowballs to Fort Rock Park. Just can't say enough about the fun in Sunriver. Thanks VACASA for your professionalism and to the owners of Jay 4 for sharing their home with us.

This place was very lovely. It has adequate room for a family and is an identifiable color. This is useful because it easy to spot from the back, while your riding bikes to find your way home. The kitchen had a varied amount of pans, utensils, etc. for cooking. It was a clean, comfortable place with a lovely view!
Terry N. February 2014
For the money, this house delivers. The gas fireplace puts out quite a bit of heat so it is very practical as well as aesthetically pleasing. It is not a luxurious house but if you are trying to be thrifty it is a great vacation house. The location is great and with a couple of minor repairs, as noted ,this house is a great choice. We called the converted garage the "downstairs bedroom" due to the one step! After a pretty cool first night we discovered a hidden heater behind the hide a bed couch. Turned this on and the room was very comfortable.
Sean W. February 2014
We had a fantastic time this past President's weekend at 4 Jay Lane. The property was clean, well maintained, and the instructions for entry and check out were very clear. Would definitely go back again.
Pam P. June 2013
The house was minutes from the Village, with a bike bath right behind the house. Yet house was still very private and quiet; best of both worlds. House was very clean and well stocked - even coffee beans! Nice hot tub too. I would definitely stay here again!
Lindsay K. February 2013
We were really happy with this house. We have rented more expensive, "fancier" places in sunriver, only to be dissappointed with broken hot tubs, faulty thermostats, shotty cookwear ect. This house is simple, but very well kept. Most importantly, the hot tub was nice and hot. This is so crucial for a sunriver stay. My son loved having his own little area off the entry way and we appreciated how helpful the vacasa staff was. The only thing people may want to consider is that there is no garage and only one parking space. We were fine with that because it was just us staying here but multiple car parties may want to check if additional parking could be arranged. This was our best sunriver experience and we will be going with vacasa from now on. Thank you!
Manager Response:
We are so happy that you had a good time and enjoyed the home. Thank you for taking the time to put together this thoughtful and informative review. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Hannah S. January 2013
Clean and cozy place to stay within minutes from grocery store, etc.
Debbie B. January 2013
It was so fun being so close to the Village and SHARC. We loved walking in the snow to the village every morning and the kids loved the hot tub. It was also nice that you supplied coffee and all the fixins. The sparkling cider and the New Years horns were a very nice unexpected surprise. Thanks.
