Walk to Mammoth Mountain, enjoy a shared hot tub, pool, & more!
With its convenient location by Mammoth Mountain's Eagle Lodge and ski lifts, access to Summit Condominiums amenities (a hot tub, pool, tennis, and more), plus a wood-burning fireplace inside, this cozy Mammoth Lakes vacation rental has got to be a top pick for your next getaway.
From this homey condo, you can walk to Eagle Lodge, which has access to the runs on Lincoln Mountain for all skill levels. You can even take a shuttle throughout the resort. When you're not partaking in the year-long activities at Mammoth Mountain, enjoy the on-site community amenities from the pool under the summer sun, to the apres ski Jacuzzi hot tub and sauna, to the tennis court. You don't have to go far for fun here!
This nicely furnished home has roughly 1,500 square feet for you to relax, with three bedrooms (one of which is in a loft space) to provide plenty of space for everyone. Park your vehicle underground (please note there is only space for one car), and head up to be welcomed by mountain-inspired decor and high ceilings in a comfortable setting. Pick up a log or two from the stash on the balcony and toss it into the fireplace for a warm and cozy atmosphere.
The great room allows everyone in the living room, at the dining table, and kitchen to share in conversation. Entertain yourself with the DVD- and cable-equipped TV or the provided WiFi. Play Yahtzee or chess at the table while another guest fixes popcorn or hot cocoa in the kitchen, which is complete with all the necessary tools and appliances for making breakfast, lunch, or dinner rather than spending money on every meal at the resort.
After a day on the slopes, you'll be happy to retire to one of the bedrooms or the third bedroom area in the loft. In the master, find a king-size bed, a queen bed in the guest room, and two twin beds in the colorful and comfy loft. Two full bathrooms and a stacked washer and dryer to freshen up your vacation wardrobe, will keep a full house of six happy!
In addition to the on-site amenities, from the hot tub at the complex to the thrilling trails at Mammoth Mountain, this entire southern Sierra area is an outdoor-lover's haven. Take a day trip up to Yosemite National Park and come back to this private home away from home. There are also tons of trails for hikers and mountain bikers all along the way.

We enjoyed our stay and you can’t beat the walking distance to eagle express. Also easy 2 minute drive to the grocery store and a few more to Main Street. We would come to stay again but having said that, the condo and complex is a little worn. Obviously some of that is outside of the condo owners’ domain but still part of the experience. Parking in this unit’s spot is convenient but tight-our Prius was fine but our friend’s Durango was uncomfortably difficult to park.
Plenty of towels and linens, dishes and silverware. Kitchen tools and pots and pans are workable but don’t expect any staples in the pantry. Lots of salt but no sugar-nothing promised by the rental but I've seen much more robust pantries at most other condo rentals
Location was great with quick lift access!
This is our third time here. They upgraded the sofa and chair which is great! It's nothing fancy but it is one of the most affordable places you can find that is so close to the mountain. Kids can come home early (or parents can come home early) and trust the other half of the family will make it home with no problems. It is about 150 yards to the chair lift at Eagle Lodge.
The unit was in a great location. Being only 100 yds from the Eagle high speed chair allowed us to walk to the lift geared up and ready to ski/board. The under unit park was perfect for unloading and loading the vehicle when it was snowing, however, I recommend backing into the parking spot due the tight fit.
The unit has all the amenities of home, including wifi. Recommend you bring a few extra pillows for comfort.
I loved to feel safety and privacy
Loved the location, play games and the homely feel.
Will book again next year great condo good price great town pool lots to do or just hang out and rest up.
The condo was nice didn't really have any complaints other than the fact that it was on the third story and the parking was terrible. You had to make an immediate right into this parking space which was impossible. Then the walk up the three flights of stairs with all our gear and food was not easy.
Our home away from home was a great place to stay. We were there one week. The condo had every thing we needed. It was very clean and well kept. It was a little outdated but the price was reflecting that. I would rent this place again. Close to the slops, shops and restaurants. Even closer to my grandchildren. The hot tub was a bonus. I recommend this place to anyone...
Couldn't stay much closer to the Eagle lifts. The place was cute and cozy and everyone else that was either vacationing or living in the other apartments were super friendly.
This was a perfect home base for us to go skiing on the mountains. It's a five minute walk to Eagle Lodge, and whoever wanted to go home early could with the keycode (no physical key necessary). This unit is a little outdated. It was stocked with basic kitchen supplies, but we weren't missing anything to cook our food. Beds were okay enough to rest after a day on the mountains. Bathrooms were sufficient. Cable TV and wireless internet worked. I thought for what I paid it was a good value. The welcome hospitality kit from Vacasa was a nice touch.
This place was close to slopes but very old and rundown. Do not recommend
Would warmly recommend this place!
Very good place to stay. Close to everythingI Will recommend this place.
The only issue was our designated parking slot was too narrow. Other than this every thing was perfect.
The whole place is a bit threadbare. The kitchen is college apartment quality at best. For a bunch of dudes on a ski trip this is the place. For any sort of up-market tourist expecting comfort and quality this isn't it. The price is right for what you get. However the exorbitant cleaning fee is a bit ridiculous as there is no real way to clean this place. It's not dirty per se it just isn't ever going to seem cared for. Location is excellent and pool and spas were above average.
Frig not working properly. stove not working properly. pots and pans of low quality. lighting of low quality
Great cabin has all the necessities, just walk across the street to eagle lodge!! Only problem was the grumpy neighbor which isn't the cabin's fault. She yelled at us while we were moving in for being too loud. Cabin was great and well located, we would definitely stay there next time to ski!
We enjoyed our stay here in Mammoth. We had two families with young kids ranging from 6 months to 10 years and everyone was comfortable. The kitchen was old school but that made it quaint for us and oddly enough added the the charm. There was plenty of pots, pans, and utensils as we did cook during our stay. The only issue we had was the running toilet upstairs. The handle had to be jiggled to address the stopper inside the toilet but when a child uses the toilet in the middle of the night, they don't know how to fix that problem so you can hear the toilet all night. Other than that we really enjoyed our time there.
Cant beat it for the price! Everything yoo need for a quick weekend. Will definitely be back.
This place was clean and well maintained. Had lot of linens, towels, pots and pans. The few drawbacks for our family was that the unit is in the top floor and it was hard on senior parents to climb the stairs. May be due to elevation, found it difficult to breathe and the place was hot without the heater being turned on - maybe the weather in general - not sure. Location was very convenient.
I rented this condo becuase i wanted to be close to the chairlift. What a big mistake. The dishwasher doesn't work, upstairs toilet doesn't work, light bulbs burned out, ceiling fan doesn't work, the kitchen was dirty when we arrived and everything is old and dirty including the furniture in the living room. I've rented in Mammoth 5 times and this was by far the worst.
We are sorry to see that this stay was not more enjoyable. The dishwasher has been replaced, all light bulbs are in working order, the owner is replacing the couch very soon, the toaster has been replaced and more glassware has been added, and the Property Manager will be inspecting cleans for this housekeeper for the foreseeable future to be sure that our standards are met. Again, we are very sorry that this was not a more enjoyable stay.
The condo is out dated but roomy, great location, eagle lodge is right out the front door. It was plenty of room and overall happy with the stay.
This property is very old, rundown and not maintained. Not comfortable, dirty. Just plain awful. I will never stay here again.
You can't beat the location on how close the condo is to Eagle Lodge for the lifts. The parking was easy and the condo was quiet. However.... the dishwasher was broken (we weren't told ahead of time and no drying rack was provided), the couch and chair are worn (the chair was coming apart at the arm rest), the bunk beds were very uncomfortable even for the kids to sleep on and the kitchen lacked a lot of essentials. The pots and pans are rusty and need to be replaced and there is no cutting board or proper knives. The refrigerator has a bad water leak that leaked on our food and then froze the food. The oven is so ancient that it is hard to cook food without burning it. We wanted to use the washer and dryer but considering how run down and malfunctioning every other electric in the condo was, we were to scared that the wash would actually work. The dryer did work. The condo is a good size but that's about it.
We apologize for the inconveniences this guest experienced during their stay. The dishwasher is currently out of order, but there is a drying rack and dish soap under the sink for guest use. There are new pots and pots and a new toaster on their way to the house so guests can cook at ease, and the washer and dryer are in great condition. The Property Manager has left his personal number in the home so that guests can reach him when they are in need of immediate assistance.
We were in the Forester Condo's and were very pleased. Cozy, spacious, and very close to lifts for a great price! Thanks, We'll be back!
We had two major disrepairs: a broken dishwasher door that fell into the middle of the kitchen and an upstairs toilet that would not stop flushing until manually lifting the top and adjusting the chain. We called twice our first day and once on our third and last day to get some maintenance there, but did not get a call back until w were already out of the property on the afternoon of our last day. In addition, the quality of kitchen furnishings was reminiscent of being in college with lids missing from some pots, no large bowls, and old appliances. This needs to be updated to really by useable. This could be accomplished at a small cost to the owner and make our experience so much nicer. Ditto for the one and only couch in the living room that had a blanket over it to cover the threadbare spots on the edge of sagging cushions. I brought my 77-year-old dad with me on this trip (avid skier) and it was these little burdens that were irritating. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable, the tv is new and this property is just steps from the slopes and that made it easy to get on the mountain.
Thank you for sharing your review and providing us some detailed feedback! We have shared your comments with our property manager and they will work to make sure the home is more comfortable for our guests. We are glad you have a great time skiing and we hope to see you back soon!
